We were just looking for a cup of Americano, and a smoothie. We found a remarkably renovated, and tastefully appointed , former old-time movie theater enjoying a vibrant second life as a coffee house that happens to have a dinner menu a few nights each week. At dinner, my companion had the grilled halibut and i had some remarkably up-scale, light... More

Had a lunch sandwich that was excellent and ate a dinner that was also excellent. Be sure to eat a dessert.

Went there for dinner. Wasn't sure what to expect from a "coffee place", but it surprised me. The food selection was limited, but in my opinion it's a good thing. A small menu lets them concentrate on doing a very things well vice 900 things horribly. The mashed potatoes were excellent (and not from a box). The vegetables were well... More

A wonderful old building, very comfy and warm feeling. The food was amazing. I had the herb encrusted salmon which was delicious. My husband had the pork tenderloin. He will usually not eat cooked vegetables, but these were perfectly cooked--still very crisp, with a flavor that I would say they were sauted in a wine sauce. Absolutely delicious. The service... Intimate, old theatre building being reused as a cafe. Limited but nice menu with friendly wait staff and a non-rushed feel. Nice meals, tasteful prepared and presented. Very pleasant experience.

This was a great dinner. Not rushed, perfectly attended to. Very quiet and intimate. The food was cooked to perfection. The flat iron steak was outstanding - rare as ordered. My wife had the pork tenderloin and it was tender and juicy with a great tasting sauce. The dessert was really good and fresh. The dinner was a little bit... More

Coffee was great! Food was good. Service was poor! There were only three tables seated and all the other tables were open during lunch. The staff walked by all tables waiting for service (no smiles, no greeting and no eye contact). After almost 15 minutes I followed one girl and asked if they take orders at the table or if... More

Went for lunch - Great service and cozy atmosphere. Had the Cuban panini, it was made special by their house made pickles and the perfect bread it was made on, crispy on the outside, still tender and chewy inside. My husband had the ham and cheddar panini - made with the local "River Rat" cheddar cheese. You have to visit... More

The Lyric Coffee House in Clayton NY was a sudden impulse to try. The weather was turning, and I needed a break from shopping. The smell of FRESH COFFEE was like a magnet. Once inside my companion decided that we had to have coffee and a snack. We were quickly seated and started with coffee. I could not help but... More
