Perfect place for our Bridal Shower

We wanted an English Tea for the Bridal Shower for our daughter. This was the perfect place. The decor is darling and the staff was wonderful. They were so helpful in explaining our options while planning. On the day of the big event, it was perfect. Everyone raved about the tea sandwiches and... read more

The location is exactly halfway on a regular trip we make from Massachusetts to Ohio, and it's lovely not to have to go into Buffalo in order to stop for the night. We look forward to staying at the Asa Ransom House, which is beautifully kept and very pretty and where the Lamb is fabulous! As is the abundant breakfast.... More

I scheduled a gift for Mother's day for my wife. Everything was very good and we had plenty of time to arrive at the playhouse. We both believe the food was prepared as we liked we are local and will be returning soon.

Treated my sister to Afternoon Tea for her birthday present. It was a wonderful afternoon. Service and food excellent. We only live a mile or two away and have never been in here before, so it was a pleasant surprise. This is also a Bed & Breakfast and I can imagine that it would be a wonderful little place to... We did not stay overnight. We have eaten here several times on special occasions. This time, Thanksgiving. Service, attentive yet not overbearing. Atmosphere; think of 1875 farmhouse dining room with warmth, slightly overdecorated. Not noisy. My wife and I prefer to taste our food. We know how to use a salt shaker if need be. In large part my overall... More

The country setting is lovely. Interesting rooms to explore waiting to be seated. The Tea Room was nicely decorated as was the table set-up. Huge selection of unique flavored tea bags. Those were the highlights. The pot of water was very warm, not hot. The cream for the scones tasted like cream cheese, not heavy whipped cream. The 3 assorted... More

Had lunch yesterday with my sisters and mother. The food and service was excellent. Everything was fresh and homemade. You could tell the cook used nothing but fresh fruits and vegetables from the cranberry cosmo I had to the turkey breast with stuffing and gravy. Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. When ever she... More

We had a weekday dinner and sat on the front porch. Seating is limited. The outdoor dining is far enough from the roadway as not to be a distraction. The food is always good and basic American fare. I ordered a special, the ribeye steak, which was good but a bit disappointing. It's difficult to get good ribeyes today, even... More
