Stopped here for the first time Saturday afternoon. The Server recommended the Chopped Romaine Salad for myself and the Chicken Finger Platter for my 4-year-old daughter. Service was outstanding and my daughter keeps asking me when we can go back to see her new friend that gave her crayons and a Pooh coloring book! Our food was delivered quickly and... More

It was our first visit and arrived more than an hour before the kitchen stopped taking orders. I ordered a salad which was nice and my partner ordered a chicken dish with risotto which was pretty bland and a Caesar salad that needed more dressing and the cheese on it seemed to be mozzarella. Half way into our meal we... More

I have been to The Hollow Bistro 3 times. Food is okay. Service is terrible and the food takes at least 45- minutes to an hour to come out. This is what I experienced on all 3 visits. I live in Clarence however I felt the atmosphere was stuffy and you were only treated with respect if you were a... More

Tried the Hollow last night with friends....really enjoyed our visit...the décor and atmosphere was really comfortable and the food is much better than average...really good variety...they might inform the servers that Gouda and Mozzerella cheese are NOT the same but other than that, we had a great time

Had an early dinner on Mother’s Day. Only 3 other tables occupied. Pleasant greetings by hostess and server. Had shrimp cocktail that was room temperature and just thawed frozen (and limp) shrimp. Wife’s salmon portion was good-sized by the risotto was lacking flavor. My pasta dish was ok but nothing great. Busboy removed wife’s mimosa without asking before she got... More

Happened to stop here based on the feedback from friends. It is small and intimate, yet the food is so awesome - not your run of the mill food - had a salmon salad which was so excellent - the service was very good - the prices are right in the ballpark - I will return again and try more... More

I have been to the Hollow Bistro 3 times now. I was just checking the menu, in hopes of visiting again this coming weekend. The food in very fresh. Original offerings, it's hard to choose what to have. I'm thinking the Lobster Sweat Pea Penne this time around. We're always in the area shopping. So much better than the chain... More

Visited on a Monday night, which is BYOB night. Arrived a few minutes before my date and enjoyed an excellent conversation with the bartender Amber; intelligent, personable. Then it just got better with the Lobster Sweet Pea Penne entree. Third time I have been there and consistently excellent.

Whenever I am in the Buffalo area, I try to make sure I stop at the Hollow Bistro and Brew because I can count on a wonderful experience. Last evening was one of those times. I enjoy the cozy atmosphere and gracious service. Whether stopping in for lunch or dinner or a glass of wine with an appetizer, the quality... More

My wife and I decided to try this place a second time on April 5th. We had a 7pm reservation and arrived a few minutes early. We were seated at one of the tables in the center aisle, and even though we complained about being uncomfortable the hostess (who turned out to be the owner) only moved us to another... More
