On another snowy, Buffalo evening we decided to get out of the house for a quick bite and chose Hayes Fish Company, a place I had been to numerous times to buy fresh fish and seafood. The restaurant is pleasant, but not "glamorous", the wait staff is both friendly and helpful; but it's the food and the prices that are... More

This was a great find!! The seafood was fresh and the quality was off the charts good.. We were greeted by the owner and he took the time to explain how he manages the freshness and quality.. The choices were plentiful.. A must for any seafood lover!!! Very relaxing!

Sometimes you have to wait in line, but not always. The seafood is always fresh and delicious. This place has a good reputation, you could tell because the days they are open the tables are always filled.

Run by long time fish family....half retail fish counter, half counter restaurant. Large regular menu of standards.....a least a dozen blackboard specials the night I was there. you order at the counter, find a seat, and your meal is brought to you. Help yourself to ice water. Limited beer and wine available. I had standard breaded fish fry. Great fish....hard... More

Dined @ Hayes last Friday evening. Got there a little after 5 pm & the line had already formed. As the time wore on, the line grew out the door & down the sidewalk in front. Crowds! Families! And it won't be cheap. Am sure some of those families paid over $200 to order their own food & then pick... More

I recently visited Hayes for the first time, though I'm somewhat of a local. I ordered the broiled salmon dinner. It was done to perfection and the fish was incredibly fresh tasting. Best salmon I've had in a long time, possibly ever. Sides were delicious too. I cannot wait to go back and try other items as everything on the... More

Been here a few times and it's always been good. The fish is amazing and their soups are very good as well.

here's a little fishy that decided to swim in a bigger pool, offering an outstanding array of fresh seafood with decent sides in a semi-upscale atmosphere... long drive for us, and mrs. cg eschews seafood, but for the cheap gourmet, it's better than a trip to his favorite fishing hole

Hayes has efficient service and great seafood. The Friday fish fry is delicious, but if you can't do the breading, the broiled haddock is just delicious. The clam chowder is amazing, while the New England is tastier than the Manhattan, both are delicious- the lobster bisque is also just so good. Try Hayes most days of the week, but go... More

Hayes Fish Co is a family owned and operated seafood restaurant in Clarence. It's casual dining with the freshest seafood around. There's a take out, dine in and fish market on site. Whenever we go to Buffalo, this is a must on our restaurant list. Everything we've tried has been excellent.
