This place is great. First we went to the store. A lot of fun to look around. Then we noticed a chili sign at the stand. Tried the spicy one- great flavor! Highly recommend!

If you're driving on historic route 20, between Sharon Springs and Cherry Valley, and you see a fifty-foot high tepee built back in 1950, TURN IN. The view across the road from here is spectacular: a ninety-mile sweep over the Mohawk Valley to the far-flung Adirondack Mountains. The gift shop inside the surprisingly capacious tepee run by the Latella sisters... More

This was my first trip to Pete's Chow Wagon and I am definitely going back in September to try the Garlic Chili which sounds HEAVENLY!!! Loads of variety, so much that it's hard to choose. I had the Chili Pie and it was delicious and filling. How can you go wrong? Real food made with love, amazing panoramic views while... More

We have been stopping and tee pee Pete's for 11 years after the baseball hall of fame induction weekend. The chili is the bomb, the O'Donna wrap delicious, and the gift shop always offers a great souvenir or a few. It is a must see if you are driving on the 28 between Albany and Cooperstown. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR... More

This place is just fantastic. The food is great and Pete is so friendly and an amazing host. The setting cannot be beat and there happens to be wifi! I am not sure you are going to get a better experience anywhere.

Took a motorcycle trip with husband via Route 20 to Finger Lakes. Read about this place on another website and knew we had to stop for light lunch break. Both of us are chili lovers. We were looking at the fabulous view and passed it by and had to turn around. Well worth the stop. Hot Chili was the best.... More

Tepee Pete has excellent hot dogs and burgers!! But what stands out the most is his Harvest Chili and fried dough with apples and cinnamon !! His harvest chili is unique and should be sold in stores!! Next time I'm in Cherry Valley I'll be stopping by the Tee Pee for more !! Bob P.
