We are from out of town and decided to have dinner here. When we first walked in the bartender was hesitant to allow us to sit outside. It was a nice evening but she thought it might rain. After a lot of persuasion she did allow us too. Our waitress was wonderful. She was attentive and friendly. The food was... More

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience at Johniie's last night. We were welcomed and chose a table and our server came right over for our drink orders and toldus the specials. My husband asked for the Grouper to be blackened and chef was very happy to do so. My Haddock was golden on the outside and plump... More

We ate here last week before the Bullhead dinners went away for the season. The Bullhead were fried perfectly in a nice golden batter. The sides that were included, bean salad and side of pasta, was very good as well. The place had a nice and relaxed feel to it and was moderatly busy while we were there. The food... More

While traveling Route 31 at the eastern end of Oneida Lake, I always plan a stop at Pier 31 for lunch or dinner. Having been a customer there for many years now, I have always found the food and service above average. Although not fancy, I found the wait staff and owner John always trying to make me feel welcome... More

My wife and I visited on a saturday afternoon. Not much was going on, only 2 other couples were there. My wife ordered the "grouper" basket and I had the "cajun" (haddock) basket. Wow! I didn't think you could cook fish that bad! The haddock was so over cooked it actually crunched when you bit into it. I think the... More

Stopped by with a group of 8 and the staff was pleasant and helpful - and didn't add on the standard 18% tip (which benefited her). The food was pretty good - most of us ordered some version of a fish dish. I did miss the vegetables - I don't consider cole slaw an acceptable vegetable for a main course... More

The sunset view across Oneida Lake from the deck is awesome - food is a smidge better than average, and service is very good. Stay away from the deep fried pike, and all will be fine. This is not gourmet, but casual dining in a very relaxed atmosphere. We go there often because it is away from the Summer frenzy... More

My husband and I stopped here on a Sunday night for dinner. The staff was great, food was delicious. They even bring complimentary carrots, celery, and radishes with dressing out with all dinners. We will definitely be back!
