On a recent vacation, we found this nice place to eat. ( It was mid-afternoon, we were tired and hungry. We were the only ones in the restaurant at that time.) We had the spaghetti & meat balls and our son had a philly cheese steak sandwich. The portions were huge- price was good. We split the spaghetti meal and... More

We arrived there at 4:30 PM bar going full tilt with happy hour crowd. We were seated within a couple minutes. Ordered fish special which comes with a good sized salad and fish with a side of coleslaw. The fish wasn't greasy. They have a good list of draft beer. Dirt parking area. Service might have been classed as slow... More

Tuesday (3/12/13)was our second attempt to have dinner here that failed. When they first switched owners and changed names, the services was good and the food was excellent. About 6 months ago, my husband and I stopped here for dinner and when no one acknowledged our presence after 5 minutes, we left. Not busy in the restaurant but several people... More

Not very busy for a Saturday night, but hostess wanted to seat us in the bar area and not the dining room. When we indicated we wanted the dining room she was not very happy. Have no idea why as there were plenty of tables. The Utica Greens were very spicy hot. The salad, rolls, NY Strip and Chicken Francese... More

We visit the each August for the Madison-Bouckville antique week. We have dined at Leandro's at least once during our week-long stay in Canastota. During our last visit (August 2012) we dined there twice--on a Tuesday night (just the two of us) and a Friday night (with another couple). On Tuesday there were on three tables occupied--each with two patrons.... More

My wife and I dined at Leandro's Restaurant & Sports Bar early on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is well maintained and clean in appearance. Ample parking in a paved lot. We were greeted a moment or two after we entered. There were only a couple of other parties dining at that time and were seated in a corner booth... More

We stopped on a Saturday night and had other plans for later that evening so our stay was not as long as we had wanted. Skipped the appetizers and went right for the entrees. My wife had the surf & turf pinchos (shrimp, scallops & cubes of beef on skewers with vegetables) and I had Mariscada (a medley of shrimp,... More
