After a brief tour through Canandaigua and views of the beautiful lake, we decided on another late lunch. We chose Pepper's as our friends had dined there previously. Being after 2 PM, there was no crowd, but added people did come in as we were there. The wait person was very good. When our friend decided on soup, he asked... More

This used to be a favorite of ours. The white chicken chili and smoked gouda tomato soup were fantastic. A lot has changed, and not just ownership. The restaurant was dirty. The bathrooms looked as though they hadn't been tended to at all that day. Could see dusty/dirty shelves in kitchen. We were hungry so decided to stick it out.... More

We have always enjoyed and been able to recommend peppers. Went for lunch today and surprised at shabby appearance overall. Need some good old soap, water, and paint. Smell of dirty carpet overwhelming.staff sweeping dirty/dusty floor around food prep area. Booths greasy and dirty. Food mediocre. Wraps small and not much in them. Chips old and cold. Waitress not attentive;... More

2nd time with new owners and this was the last time patronizing this restaurant. Food; mediocre at best, fries came out cold, then they insisted on cooking more which they were barely browned, hot but still needed to be cooked. The lettuce in the ceasar salad looked like it was a week old, and it was covered in dressing. Now,... More

We had a cranberry chicken wrap and it was very good and a cookie for dessert. The waitress was less than attentive, but the hostess made up for the waitress who I would say almost bordered on rude. When we arrived we asked to sit at the bar and the waitress told us to wait for the hostess. This happened... More

Great pastas, salads & sandwiches. Not really a deli although there is a small case at the front. Great for a reasonably-priced quick sit down meal and GREAT for kids (the booths are really high so you're not disturbing fellow diners!)

Used to live down the road from peppers back to celebrate birthdays and mothers day. Food was good serviced by a tired waitress. Lip stick on wine glass will always make me sad, unless it is mine!

today had a very bad experience. Ordered a special Scolloped Potato&Ham and it was just terrible. 4 or 5 bites of ham and several pieces of potato on a plate of watered down cheese. Should have sent back.

My wife and i live in Canandaigua and eat here frequently. There is nothing fancy about this restaurant, and the noise level can get high when busy, but the food, especially the sandwiches and wraps, are excellent. We have had a pasta dinner once, and it was good, but we tend to like lighter suppers, so we stick to the... More

We found Peppers quite by accident but definitely satisfied our lunchtime hunger. The portions were large and were more than enough for one person. They had quite an extensive menu offering a nice variety of choices. It was not exactly fast food, so allow a little time when busy.
