Had never been here before but saw so many cars outside it seemed to be a local favorite. Friday night and the place was filling up pretty fast. They had specials on prime rib(17 oz for $15.99) and haddock fish fry. Chose the prime rib to share and it was more than enough for two. I did try some shrimp... More

I'm happy with the food selection. The only down side is they were out of the top meals. Porky's worst nightmare was the sandwich I had. Very well done. Needs a bit more pulled pork. The chili is good if you like sweet not hot. Service was below average. I think it's just a fluke, will return soon.

This is a home cooking atmosphere, although the day we stopped was when several large activities were taking place so the first two items I selected we all gone. But the server was most accomadating to help me choose anot her selection. THEN she brought the desect menu which was a topper! We went away full and we're treated well.

After a brief tour through Canandaigua and views of the beautiful lake, we decided on another late lunch. We chose Pepper's as our friends had dined there previously. Being after 2 PM, there was no crowd, but added people did come in as we were there. The wait person was very good. When our friend decided on soup, he asked... More

This used to be a favorite of ours. The white chicken chili and smoked gouda tomato soup were fantastic. A lot has changed, and not just ownership. The restaurant was dirty. The bathrooms looked as though they hadn't been tended to at all that day. Could see dusty/dirty shelves in kitchen. We were hungry so decided to stick it out.... More

We have always enjoyed and been able to recommend peppers. Went for lunch today and surprised at shabby appearance overall. Need some good old soap, water, and paint. Smell of dirty carpet overwhelming.staff sweeping dirty/dusty floor around food prep area. Booths greasy and dirty. Food mediocre. Wraps small and not much in them. Chips old and cold. Waitress not attentive;... More

2nd time with new owners and this was the last time patronizing this restaurant. Food; mediocre at best, fries came out cold, then they insisted on cooking more which they were barely browned, hot but still needed to be cooked. The lettuce in the ceasar salad looked like it was a week old, and it was covered in dressing. Now,... More

We had a cranberry chicken wrap and it was very good and a cookie for dessert. The waitress was less than attentive, but the hostess made up for the waitress who I would say almost bordered on rude. When we arrived we asked to sit at the bar and the waitress told us to wait for the hostess. This happened... More

Great pastas, salads & sandwiches. Not really a deli although there is a small case at the front. Great for a reasonably-priced quick sit down meal and GREAT for kids (the booths are really high so you're not disturbing fellow diners!)
