the menu was not big but the food was excellent. The service was good and we really enjoyed our dinner. The menu has a number of unique items such as goat stew, bison meatloaf and rabbit. will retun to try the exotic items.

Great Food and service with an outstanding wine list featuring the best local wines. We made a reservation for 8 in the outside dining area which was quite pleasant. All our dinners were prepared to perfection. In addition to having a great meal, be sure to stop in the tasting room, our the entire space and take note of the... More

We were on a mystery trip in the Finger Lakes area of New York and found that this was our luncheon stop for the day. What an enjoyable time we had as we were entertained with the Chef making our dessert and then we dined on a fabulous beef, mash potatoes and vegetable dish. The meat was so tender you... More

A must-visit in Canandaigua. Lovely tasting room where you can sample a variety of New York wines. I recommend checking into the classes they offer and signing up ahead of time. I want to do this on my next trip there.

We tried a farm market cooking class on a Saturday morning during a 3 day visit to Canandaigua. What a wonderful experience. It was a first for us. Chef Jeffrey "Cheffrey" was a very entertaining and fun instructor as were his assistants. What a great experience!

This was our first time eating here. The service was slow and not the friendliest. The place was practically empty maybe 5 tables. The prices seem a bit steep and everything was ala cart. Selection was limited and portion sizes were small. The place looked nice and I was really looking forward to our dinner there but I left very... More

I don't think we've ever had a complaint and we have been there many times. The setting is beautiful inside. Reminds me of a renaissance setting. Beautiful big chairs. The outside is always wonderful when the weather is nice. They specialize on local crops, wines and beers. Whatever is in season expect to find on the menu. They truly showcase... More

I want to start with the positive about the cooking classes. My daughter enjoyed tremendously during the 3 day sessions. She learned alot and will be taking more. Recently attended the upstairs Bistro for late lunch. The deck is very nice. The food is delicious but the service is very very slow.

While visiting the Canandaigua, we decided to sign up for a cooking class at the Culinary Centre. What fun! We were instructed to arrive at the local market - there we were given $20 and told to buy any produce or fruits that appealed to us. Once back at the Culinary Centre, Chef provided some basic instruction on working around... More
