Wow - what a gem!

We visited this great showcase for New York wine, beer, spirits and food. Everyone was very welcoming. Favourite part was the well stocked tasting room. Canandaigua and Finger Lakes are lucky to be home to this gem. Would love to come back and take a class.

recent visit for family event ( wedding rehearsal dinner). From the warm and "we were expecting you! " greeting as we entered the doors, to the facility and decor, the service staff, the attention to detail, very elaborate cheese and veggie appetizer selection, bar staff enthusiasm, and dinner, ALL well done. Food was very well done, very generous buffet,,well presented.... More

I was a little nervous about what to expect with the food based on the reviews, but it was excellent. My husband and I both had a steak dish and each was delicious. In addition to a huge wine and beer list, they also have tasty custom made cocktails. The desert was also excellent and a perfect way to finish... More

First impression upon being seated...not so good. My bread plate was filthy dirty. The eggs Benedict I ordered made up for that however. The meal was fantastic. We chose this place because we like to eat fresh and local as much as possible. If they thoroughly cleaned their dinnerware, it'd be pretty close to perfect.

a friend works in the tasting room, so I find it personally entertaining. Haven't tried the bistro yet, but I'm anxious to do so. I attended the Young Guns wine mixer and it was great - exceeded my expectations. I expected the event to be boring and uptight. The Leonard Bros. representatives were awesome

We ate at the Bistro the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We shared the fig and goat cheese pizza which was incredibly delicious. The salad wad also fresh and tasty. Our waiter was attentive and the ambiance was cozy. I would definitely eat here again!

Quick review from two visits: Service is good - physical plant is good - food is, at best, unexceptional - price is high and servings are small. Took friends for lunch and dinner in the past month. Both times, my vegetables were served cold and the food was not worth going back for. Yesterday's lunch cost $72 with tip for... More

The food was fantastic and options diverse. I went as part of a tour package so I can't comment on price. Portions could have been a little bigger.

Went for lunch with friends. Got a wonderful corner table in the bar which was fine. You can't really see the water, BTW. Ordered the usual lunch fare, including my wife's attempt to order Vegan. She cobbled a vegetarian wrap into vegan but nothing special. Same for all the other entries. Service was OK, but absent for long periods, and... More
