We've eaten at the Rheinblick German Restaurant four times in the last year when we camped outside of Canandaigua in the KOA. Each time we had great food and wonderful service. The German beer was also very good. If you like German food, prepared the authentic way, then plan on this stop if you're in Canandaigua, NY.

I've always said, ever since discovering this wonderful restaurant in Canandaigua, that it was the best German restaurant in the area. (Syracuse has one that is about as good, but no other competition besides that.) Last night, I enjoyed another "helping" of their Metzger sausage platter, which is simply amazing. Five different kinds of German sausage served over mashed potatoes... More

I had visited Rheinblick twice in three days. The first visit, (which my 3rd time, and the first for my two friends) my friends and I arrived without a reservation around 8 o'clock... Not knowing they closed at 8pm - Google said they closed at 9pm. They welcomed us and were very friendly, they did not rush us at all.... More

My wife and I ate at the Rheinblick while on vacation .I ordered the roulanden and my wife ordered the pork medallion. I should have looked closer at the menu because I think it was actually Rouladein , as I was served one along with spaeztle and cabbage. A very expensive meal for the servings i was given . My... We have been here a few times and have always had a great meal. It is a family run restaurant and the food is authentic as you can get outside of traveling to Germany.

My family and I (four of us) ate supper here. I love German food and try not to pass by any German restaurant, since they are few and far between. Compared to many other German restaurants, this one far surpassed them in a couple ways, was about average in many ways. What we loved: The menu contained many dishes that... More

I have been to Germany maybe 10 times and love the food. It is very hard to find truly authentic food in many areas. Rheinblick did not disappoint. All of the food that our party ate was fantastic and the prices were good. The metzger's meal (all sausage) was excellent as were the two schnitzels I ate.

My husband and I were so excited to find this restaurant and eat authentic German Food! However, when I ordered my Weiner Schnitzel it was so tough I could not even eat it, very disappointed! My husbands meal was "just ok." The prices are pretty high for what you get and it is also very crowded. I felt like I... More

What a lovely dining experience...four friends and I enjoyed a wonderful weeknight dinner at this amazing little slice of Germany - tucked right in the downtown area of Canandaigua, NY! We called ahead to make reservations, arrived right on time, and were immediately seated. A truly charming setting greeted us, complete with a great mix of uber-German classical, oom-pah, martial...
