Great People, Food and Drink

Second time there and the food was great and the people were very friendly. I had the half a pig leg and it was great my wife had the pork medallions and they we perfect. Kraut is perfect and the beer makes it all slide down. Wish they had warm pretzels for an app but overall great place to eat.

Reasonable prices and great food! We went on Friday night and were lucky enough to catch their Walleye fish fry special. The fish was lightly battered and super moist and flaky. The sauerbraten, red cabbage and spaetzle were out of this world and we both enjoyed the bee sting cake. Highly suggest making a reservation as they have a limited... More

Very good food, highly authentic. Very nice owners. However my opinion of a restaurant is based upon the entire value proposition of atmosphere, food, service, expectations and value. Their food is tremendous, but the place is very small, a bit dark for a storefront, portions are modest. I expect a good wine or beer and festive experience in most German... More

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner today consisting of an appetizer of fried pickles (tried on a whim and loved them), entrees: Schweinshaxe (pork shank) and Schweinemedaillons with spatzle. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was excellent. Attentive and very personable. We wished we had room for dessert.

This is a fun little restaurant right on the main street. You enter on the side down a short alley, just like the ones in Germany. The decor and costumes the waitresses wear are very authentic and so is the menu...printed in both German and English. We had the pork shank and the sauerbraten. Both were large portions and very... We've eaten at this place a number of times in the past, and it never fails to impress. The food is authentic German, as the restaurant owners are very German themselves and insist on only serving the right stuff. I love their Metzger plate, which is five different kinds of sausages served with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Yummy! A few... More

Stopped for dinner with 4 friends. Food was excellent and our server was great! She even gave us discount coupons for our next visit which was a really nice touch. Everyone was happy with their food, although I didn't love my pork shank. To be fair, I had no idea what that actually was....I thought a thick slice of pork... More

We stopped in during a conference & were happy to find an authentic German restaurant in Canandaigua. Service was very good, good wine list and a phenomenally large selection of German appetizers and entrees… we've never so many Schnitzel options before, not in New York, Chicago, Karlsruhe, anywhere. Order a beer flight… four German beers with different flavors that were... More

We've been here twice now over the last few years, making the drive from Rochester just for dinner here. The service is just right, efficient but not intrusive. A very friendly atmosphere. What sets Reinblick apart though is the food - it's authentic and delicious! All of the entrées ordered by our group were wonderful and the apple strudel dessert... More
