Description: The Cooperage Inn takes great pride in serving the freshest fish, meats...
The Cooperage Inn takes great pride in serving the freshest fish, meats and local produce available. Sauces are expertly prepared on premise by our chefs. The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.

Amazing food!

Went for an early dinner with a friend on a weeknight. They had a prix fixe menu with many choices. Waitress was delightful. Food was amazing! My husband and I were here for Valentine's Day. Since it fell on a Saturday this year, we decided to go for lunch. Cooperage Inn is a very nice place...a little on the tacky side with so many decorations, floral arrangements, etc. The food was good. That's it. Good. I was expecting so much better. We may go back at... More

The service and the food is classy. Price is reasonable. Plenty of good choices and they have a good price fix menu.

Great food at brunch. Dinner is average. Service could be much better. The atmosphere is country and pleasant.

We have been here several times and often for New Year's Day brunch. We love the quaint, cozy, comfortable and charming ambience. This New Year's Day everything seemed blah to us. Maybe we have just been there for too many brunches. Nothing about the food excited us. Nothing was great; nothing was bad. It was all very unexciting! I even... More

Came after my uncles funeral @ the Calverton Nat'l Cementary. Service & bus was attentive, although water needed to be requested 4X's! Finally brought us a picture with the lemons we requested. Food was very good. We were approximately 14 people, & they handled it wonderfully. Was definately a wise choice on the part of my cousins. Would go back... More

The last review I wrote of this restaurant wasn't as good as this time. My hubby wanted seafood for his bday dinner, so we went here on a wim on a Tuesday night, we got right in. It wasn't as dark this time, better lighting. The service was great, even the bus boys do such a great job, their so... More

Good food and nice sized portions. Friendly staff, comfortable and cozy surroundings. Have eaten here many times and have always had a good time. We have a small business on the North Fork and we now go there for our annual Christmas dinner. Have also been there with family. We have had drinks at the bar before dinner and it... More

My dining experience left a sour taste in my mouth as well as the rest of my dining party. This past Saturday night we had an unfortunate experience with our waitress and although all of us at the table felt she didn't deserve a tip, we rounded the bill up and left a 5% tip (in case the bus staff...
