I scheduled my father's 65th birthday dinner at Tra Di Noi based on word of mouth which reached me all the way over in Long Island. I consider myself a bit of an italian-american food veteran (it is, after all, my native cuisine- read my other reviews for more insight), and I must say that Tra Di Noi will stand... More

We use Bronx excursions (the zoo, the botanical garden) as an excuse to come here. It's one of the nicest places in NY. You are made to feel at home, whether you are a regular or it's your first visit. The food is absolutely fresh and delicious and the prices are so reasonable. High quality ingredients with straightforward preparation. Wish... More

Wednesday evening. The Feast of Saint Anthony going on up and down 187th Street. We had the restaurant to ourselves, all six of us. The food was delicious, as was the presentation. The hostess, and wife of the chef, was was nice as could be, telling us about the various dishes and about the restaurant's history. Wonderful experience. Look forward... More

We went to Arthur Ave. for a late lunch. After doing some shopping we asked a local where he would go and he steered us to TDN. I had a special, the grilled salmon which was a bit over overcooked for me. My companions had risotto, mussels over linguini and pasta matriciana. Everyone was quite pleased with their choices. The... More

We make it a practice of going to Arthur Avenue everytime we visit the NY Botanical Garden where we are members. After our visit to the NYBG Orchid show today we drove to Arthur Ave for shopping and lunch. Tom had played trombone in a religious festival parade here and after that the band ate at Tra Di Noi and... More

Take a break from your shopping in Arthur Ave and treat yourself to lunch at a friendly, family oriented venue. Lunch specials are creative and reasonably priced. There is also a "standard menu" to choose from. Decent wine list. Friendly atmosphere and great service

Meal was fair, staff was very nice and the atmosphere did have a nice family feel about the place, but the menu was lack luster and the actual food was just average. I did go during lunch so maybe the dinner menu is better

My daughter, her boyfriend and I went to Tra di Noi this past Friday and had an outstanding meal. We began with appetizers: Mozzarella Caprese and Clams Oreganate. My daughter ordered Pollo Alla Marco. Her boyfriend had Lasagna Alla Bolognese. I ordered Rigatoni Alla Matricana, which is a red panchetta sauce. I have to add that as expected, since this... More

We went to Mt Carmel for Mass (right across the street) and then early dinner at Tri Di Noi due to the wonderful TA reviews. We weren't disappointed in the quality of the food even though the prices were higher than expected, but the inflexibility of the institutional waitress placed a pall on the otherwise wonderful afternoon. We will return... More
