GOOD LUNCH AND GREAT SERVICE

Went for lunch during the week - very quiet and very good food and service. The main menu tends to be pricey for lunch, but the lunch specials are well worth it.

We got there about 8:20 (the kitchen closes at 9) but no one rushed us. The meal was really good - I did have the lasagna - which was really yummy; my friend had the glazed poussin which was copious and very tasty. We had the stuffed artichoke before - I was concerned because they often overstuff these with hard... More

We were visiting the New York Botannical Gardens and decided to have lunch on Arthur Avenue. What luck when we discovered this trattoria. The four of us had salads and shared a plate of roasted peppers and mozzerella. Our entrees were gnocchi, lasagna and orrichette with brocolli rabe. The bread was wonderful. This is truly a great find.

Even though the restaurant was not quite ready to open when my wife and I arrived for lunch, we were graciously invited in, given a lovely table near the window, and handed menus. At another table were several members of the ownership chatting over their meal while they prepared to open. Our food was exquisitely prepared, and beyond that, we... More

We had reservation and were immediately seated. The owner is the chef and the food he prepared was amazing! Fresh, quality ingredients with wonderful flavors. Even the bread was delicious! His wife is the hostess and she was just charming!

First time we've visited Arthur Ave area and chose this place cue to good reviews. It was mother's day at late lunch and, although the restaurant was busy, we were seated without a problem. The staff was pleasant in that New York kind of way. I am not sure if they ever have a lunch menu but it was relatively... More

I recently moved to the area and a few coworkers recommended Arthur Ave. for good Italian food, so my boyfriend and I decided on Tra Di Noi after reading the stellar reviews on Trip Advisor and various other websites. We made a reservation for 7:30 p.m. Saturday night. We showed up about an hour early and were promptly seated. The... More

Loved loved loved this place! It's exactly what we wanted in visiting the Arthur Avenue area. Off the high traffic area of Arthur Avenue. Small, friendly and the food is delicious! The lasagna is perfect. Penne and meatballs are great too. Make reservations because everyone that comes on a Saturday and Sunday are regulars. Can't wait to come back.

We took a cab from 92nd street manhattan because we heard that this restaurant was good. best fried calamari I have ever had - my friends agree! I had the snapper for dinner and it was incredible. Great Tiramisu (sp?) Will definitely go there again next time we are in Manhattan - it was worth the trip!!!

Yes there was a wait, might I say it was worth it. I did not have a reservation and the hostess tried her vest best to accommodate us. We dinned on the calamari & clams oreganate as appetizers then the fettuccine al alfredo & scalloppine e limone. The portions for the entrees were small but sufficient. Everything was delicious and... More
