A warm place but food and service were only average.

I really wanted to like this place more. It is attractive inside. The server was a warm and kind of a friendly gruff Italian guy. The menu had a lot of interesting dishes at reasonable prices. But it did not make the cut. The dish I had, a chicken dish with artichoke hearts and bacon was bland. It... read more

The best bread I've ever had in my life (I think), wonderful true olive oil, great balsamic vinegar to dip it in as well, no wonder they are five generations and still going. We tried two different entrees - Lasagna and the Ann and Tony's Chicken dish - the lasagna was fantastic, the chicken dish was good with the artichokes,... More

My family and I go to Arthur Avenue regularly. Being Italian, I enjoy shopping and eating there. We have an agreement that we will eat at a different restaurant every time we go so, during our last visit, we decided to try Ann and Tony's Restaurant. What a big mistake!! By far, it was the worst meal we have ever... More

This restaurant established in 1927 presently owned & operated by the 5th generation of the Napolitano family, Anthony who is the head chef features average classic Italian fare in a neat & attractive setting. Limited full bar tended by a friendly, attentive, knowledgable young man who also waits on tables. Reasonable prices but better food available elsewhere on Arthur Ave.

This authentic Italian restaurant on Arthur Ave is the real thing. From the decor (plain italian, 1980's), to the surpurb food, this is one of the best (of many) terrific restaurants on the block. Make a reservation if you go on the weekends, or you'll wait.

Have eaten here a few times. The food is good, but, not consistant. Went with large group on Christmas Eve and service was slow and food not as good as other times. Family won't go back for our holiday gatherings.

I have gone to Ann & Tony's many times, including business lunches. The food and service is great. The menu is solid with the standard Italian classics. Not great variety of fish dishes but the veal and chicken dishes are delicious. I have recommended many friends to go there and they have ALL raved about their experience,

My friends and I are Fordham alumni and wanted to relive our college days by grabbing "dinner on Arthur." A&T's was one of our favorites back then, but after our latest experience I can't remember why. There were only a few other diners in the restaurant, quite a few waiters (owners included) but services was still lacking. Took awhile to... More

This was just an OK restaurant on Arthur Avenue. We were the only ones in the restaurant, granted, it was only 5 o'clock on Wednesday. They hot appetizer was more than enough for four people. The salad was just OK. The entrées were very good, we would've had an enjoyable dining experience if there wasn't someone at the bar shooting... More

We were looking for an Italian restaurant for a quiet dinner after an afternoon birthday celebration nearby. A woman from RI smoking in front of the restaurant told us that they travel frequently to NYC just to have dinner at this restaurant. Ok? We went in with high expectations. Food was just ok, nothing to write home about. Prices were... More
