Food Great, Service Not So Great

When we arrived on Saturday night the restaurant was not very busy. Quite a few empty tables so they were not overly busy. First, the bread that was placed on the table with accompanying oil was ice cold. Usually everywhere we eat the bread is warm. The food is excellent. The appetizers are... read more

We used to be regulars at Ann & Tony's before me moved from NY to DE. Often we would stop off for dinner after going to a Yankee game. The food is excellent, home cooking at its best. The service is always personable, making you feel like family. Ann & Tony's is a great choice for authentic Italian cuisine on... More

I stopped by for dinner on a snowy Tuesday night and had a wonderful experience. The hot Scalia bread with pepper olive oil was very good, as was the Chianti. The salad was rather ordinary, but the side dish of Gorgonzola made it special. The real star was the Veal Ann & Tony's - a dish with artichoke hearts, olives... More

A close friend brought us here prior to Botanical Gardens visit on a recent Saturday night as our friend grew up around the corner and remembered this restaurant as a great place to go. Only problem was that our friend had not dined here for over 10 years and had we checked TA prior to going, we may have looked... More

Okay, so we were there on a Saturday night and every place was packed on Arthur Avenue with at least an hour waiting list. We went to Ann and Tony's. No line, only a 5 minute wait. The food was okay, but not outstanding or worth going back for. The bread with olive oil was very good. My DH had... More

Good food - a bit pricey, but that's the deal on Arthur Ave. Capaccino worth it as well. Fresh ripe tomatoes in the salad. Had veal with artichokes, olives, fresh mozz, white wine sauce, side of broccoli with garlic.

I did not enjoy my first and last time at Ann and Tony's. I thought the food was horrible. The wait staff was nice and attentive but the food needs help! DONT get the veal, unless you have a saw in your back pocket. There are sooo many better restaurants in the area. I was very disappointed.

We had dinner here last night. We ordered calamari for an entree and receive this weird overcooked product that was barely crispy. It came with their house maranara sauce that was very bland. I got the ravioli which looked and tasted like it came right out of a can. You could definitely tell... my boyfriend ordered the chicken parm which... More

I expected more from an Arthur Ave restaurant. This place was very average. The food was average, servings on small side however. The food did not have much taste and the sauce on the pasta was so so. The pasta side dishes were a little overcooked. I had the chicken special, lemon wine sauce. No flavor whatsover and a little...
