I have been eating in Dominick's sporadically for 30 plus years. It is loud, festive and fun. You can order basically whatever you like. I always opt for the stuffed artichoke, salad and pork chops pizzialo. The food is awesome a lot of times, sometimes its ok at best. The service is a mixed bag but they are usually friendly.... More

We went there with family with high expectations. It took a long time to get our drink order, they brought us screwtop wine with their name on it that was not worth $35 they charged a bottle for it. We ordered a salad and appetizer to dishes and two pastas family-style. They were out of your Parmesan which was a... More

No menu...cash only...yummy plates...three of us seen a crowd waiting for the restaurant to open. This got our attention. Must be good if people are waiting in line until it opens. We jumped in the back of the line. Doors opened and everyone flooded in. Long tables lined the room and people were seated. We sat a few minutes and... More

Lots to like about the place. The neighborhood, the atmosphere, the service, and the food. What great pasta dishes. Fav place in this neck of the woods.

Visited Dominick's after seeing a Yankees game a week ago - our first foray into the Bronx for food. First off, parking was tough, but we managed to find a spot on the street. This was a Saturday at about 5-6pm, so we were just a bit early for the dinner crowd, but had plenty of fellow Yankees fans with... More

I just went there for the first time. My family kept on telling me that they make the best fried calamaries so we went there for dinner. We arrived there a 5.40pm for dinner and had to wait 1 hour and a half to be seated. Then the service was very slow. Between the salad and the main dish we... More

I have been to Dominic's about 10 times and every time the food was great. Good selection, good preparation and good service. Being of Italian decent, it reminded of my home town in New Jersey.

My wife is of Italian descent so we came up to the Bronx to find a 'genuine' Italian restaurant. We found it in Arthur Ave in the form of Dominicks. This is what we imagine Little Italy looked like 60 years ago. Nothing fancy here. Just a simple layout with long tables and waiters with attitude. We ordered from the... More

I have to admit I haven't been here in a while, but friends of mine have and the place never changes. If you're looking for a private table in a quiet restaurant, you'd be disappointed. But if you're looking for good food- and plenty of it- at reasonable (for NYC anyway) prices this is the place to go. It's family... More
