Great Dominican food!

Ate at this restaurant during the holidays, actually Christmas evening! Staff was super nice, food was good! My boyfriend ordered Mondongo which is supposed to be a tripe stew but ended up getting a version with bones, not quite what it's supposed to be. I ordered a great chicken soup and of... read more

Some friends invited us to have lunch at this place. The atmosphere is very noisy and heavy! Service is not the best.. but it was full. They have lunch specials and regular menu options. We had chicken soup, baked chicken, sancocho, chicken steak and potato salad. All were good, except the chicken steak that was so dry. Good Dominican and... More

I used to go there on Sundays with my roomate and some friends, when we did not feel like cooking, I love their food, it's liike a good home cooked meal. I usually had a soup, and some rice and beans; and sometimes the steak, or the stews.

I have been here several times and I love the food. Tastes similar to grandma's cooking. Whether you sit down or take food to go, you always get great food and good service.

I loved the food, pepper steak was amazingly tasty, white rice was in its point, delicious tostones, big portions, but...(here comes my complaint) service was sluggish, food took a little too long and my server had another few tables to take care...place was packed and always is (according to the next table patrons). Service can get better, food is always... More

Low cost, low atmosphere, quick & spotty service, Dominican style, fairly large, quite busy, stuff your face with tasty food kind of place. Our granddaughter suggested to go here. It's not Tavern on the Green, but the chicharon de pollo is enough to feed 3 to four people, let alone for one person. As well as the bifstec empanizado can... More

I have been patronizing this restaurant for more than 20 years and can honestly say I've never had less than a great meal. Whether it was chuletas fritas (fried pork chops), chicharrone de pollo sin hueso (boneless fried chicken), bistec empanizado (breaded steak), or any other entree on the menu I always leave smacking my lips! Each entree is accompanied... More

Love this place. Service is awesome. Food is exceptional. You get a wide variety of spanish food at really reasonable prices. Seating is a bit uncomfortable. Worth the visit. You will definitely be pleased.
