City Island and its seafood is one of the treasures of NYC, Like a little New Engalnd village. The Seashore has a scenic view of the Tribiorough across the water, very good seafood, excellent pasta, an amazing selection, and lots of charm. deserts aren't as good as the rest of menu, but rest of menu is worth the trip

So happy to return for a wonderful family meal ( 14 ) people June 22 for my daughter-in-law's birthday. We sat out on the deck enjoying the lovely breeze off the water and watching a spectacular sunset. There were 4 youngsters in our group and the special menu for them had lots to choose from. There is so much food....all... More

We craved having lobster dinner on the water in city Island... we were not dissapointed... whole lobsters and surf and turf left nothing to be desired... great tasting food and ample portions... we will return!

To celebrate New Year's Eve this year we took a chance and made a reservation at a restaurant that we hadn't been to in a very long time. Everyone of us (6 in all) had something different and everyone enjoyed their dinner. My husband and I ordered the sea bass and red snapper and each was prepared with a creative... More

After my absence of several years due to lousy service and so-so food, I returned with 2 friends on Wed. afternoon to encounter a lovely experience. We were seated at a table where we had a nice view of the water. Our waiter was extremely courteous and attentive. The lunch specials are an excellent value. They are offered Mon. through... More

We had a party for 16 people for a Sunday lunch special . The table was all set with complimentary balloons. The waiter and other servers were exceptionally organized and polite. There were four courses-included besides the entree-fruit cup, assorted pickled vegetables, hot bread loaves, salad with baby shrimp and for dessert, an ice cream cake. The entrees were reasonably... This is a busy place, lots of movement and excitement. The outdoor seating is great, right on the water, with very pleasant views and a breeze that blows the mosquitoes away. The plate they bring to start is a standout: marinated veggies with fresh bread. The food is pricey, but most of it was good. Stay away from the fried... More

Just recently dined at the Seashore Restaurant. As always, I had so much food, I had to take home a doggie bag. You certainly get your money's worth!! It is one of my favorite places to eat during the summer season, as it is on the water and you feel transported to another place. It's hard to imagine this restaurant... More

Just spent four hours enjoying a wonderful meal on a beautiful summer evening. Although it was a busy Saturday we were not rushed - servers were polite, attentive. Setting was great - corner table outside with a nice view and a gentle breeze. The crisp vegetables with marinated mushrooms and two kinds of warm bread were a nice starter. The... More

I have eaten at Seashore restaurant on several occasions in the past. My concern today was atmosphere and service, no complaint about the food. My first issue is the woman that are hostesses. There was one young lady that had on skin tight black tights for pants. No very attractive attire. Then there was another blond young lady that had... More
