Typical Italian

Nice Italian atmosphere. Food is good, good choice of wine list. Average prices. In the middle of Little Italy Bronx.

Overall, it is expensive for Italian. My daughter had the pasta with truffles and grated cheese, finished at the table. It was the star entrée. For appetizer, recommend the homemade buttermilk mozzarella with arugula finished with a very fine balsamic. The other two entrees had potential but fell short. Pasta with cauliflower sounded great as described, more breadcrumbs than cauliflower,... More

Friendly and courteous hostesses greet you at the door. They maintain their professionalism even thought the line can be out the door. Sometimes in popular restaurants, you can tell that the host / hostess plays favorites with the seating process. We didn't see that here. We were given an approximate wait time, and they were pretty close. Comfortable seating in... More

Well worth the trip ver the GWB to go to Roberto's. We were never rushed as we sat for three hours eating and talking with friends. Food was super tasty and the portions are more than ample. Parking was easy. It will become a regular for us!

The Bronx Little Italy is a special place reminiscent of a time gone by. Shopping is still done at individual merchants in the Arthur Avenue area. Borgatti’s Ravioli and Egg Noodles, a minute place with the freshest pasta, Teitel Brothers for sausages, olives and fresh mozz, Madonia Brothers Bakery for bread and cannoli so fresh they stuff it while you... Roberto's enjoys a high rating and it's deserved! Could it move up? I think so. The really important things - like excellent food; attentive service; understandable (pricey) prices, are already there. What more could one want? For many people this list is complete; the highest rating is assigned and that's the end of the matter. But for some who have... More

Of course you want to go here for dinner after walking Arthur Ave all day. Had lunch at their sister restaurant-0-8-9 and spent the day walking around and dinner at Roberto's. Now that's a taste buds dream. Had the special which was an Ox tail rigatoni. I've tried to duplicate it now a couple of time....just can't. But I still... More

The owner was very friendly. Informed us of how their pasta is home made on the premises. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants I ever ate at. The food is superb.

I've been going to lunch here for years, and for good reason. Roberto is a master in the kitchen, the wait staff is always pleasant and attentive. The braised rabbit is spectacular. Although busy, one is never rushed, and allowed to enjoy the meal at a relaxed, casual pace. Enjoy!
