With much regret, my husband and I, who have been coming to Roberto's for 13 years, have decided that this most recent visit to Roberto's will be our last. It is question of having spent $175 for what was not really all that super-outstanding of a lunch. Just to be clear, if the same meal had cost us half that... More

This is generally held out to be the best of the Italian restuarnts in the only remaining little italy in NY (ie a little italy that still has italians, albeit not little ones). I ate there recently and would say that it keeps up its reputation -- excellent appertizers and pastas and decent prices with far larger (sometimes massive) portions... More

A meal here is always a culinary pleasure from the crusty bread and olive pile rich through to the tartufoo. Portion are large and sharing dishes is the norm. The waiters skillfully divide and serve each luscious dish. We usually try to have the specials but food off the menu is also creative and flavorful. Salmon is always a favorite... More

Really one of the best restaurants - Italian or otherwise - I've ever been to. The pasta was incredible and great environment. Check the wine cellar out if you get a chance!

I've come here several times. Pasta to me was so so. I enjoyed the pizza better. Love the decor of the place. High ceilings and really cool atmosphere. But not phenominal. I would eat here again.

Its really criminal for this restaurant to call itself Italian ! The food is shameful ......with various basic ingredients piled on a dish and renamed to fit anyones request. Save yourself a ton and go to the nearby market and eat at their indoor counter. You will have good food for a fraction of this places garbage.

We had one hour between a trip to the Botanical Gardens and a medical appt. and rushed to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, the true "Little Italy" of New York. Normally we head to Amelia's but we didn't have time to walk another two blocks after we parked. So we walked into Roberto's because it was close. It was wonderful... More

There was four of us traveling from Connecticut for a night out to try some new restaurants. We scrolled through tripadvisor, and decided this place was worth checking out. Upon arrival we gave the hostess out names and she told us there would be a wait of about one hour. It was a Saturday night so we expected this. The... More

We enjoyed a great late lunch at Roberto's yesterday. The best part is that because it was after the lunch crowd, we virtually had the place to ourselves with great service and the food was piping hot and so fresh and delicious. We were extremely well attended to by the wait staff. The pasta dishes were delicious, my teenage daughters... More
