Best Italian restaurant on Arthur Ave in the Bronx. After going to the Botanical Garden for an afternoon stroll we decided to stop by Roberto's because we knew we would get a great meal, and we were not dissapointed. The service was good, and our meals from Pasta to the Veal along with the House Wine was worth the trip... More

fantastic meal. everything was great. the entrees, main courses and incredible deserts. three of us all ordered different things and one was better than the next. service is great, and the room is very intimate and pretty. the only bad thing about this restaurant is that they do not take reservations which sometimes means a wait especially on a saturday... I have been here several times. The service is better when it's not crowded and the waiters are much more attentive, but either way the service is still good. The owner also walks around at times and greets his patrons, which is also a nice touch.

Went here over the weekend with a group of friends. Right around the corner from Arthur Avenue. They don't take reservations, but we got a table pretty quickly after some drinks at the bar. Sat downstairs which is quieter. Good service. Lots of specials in addition to a varied menu. Not inexpensive by any means. Appetizers between $15-$20, main courses... More

Stopped for dinner after going to the Train Show in the Bronx and what a great place. They don't take reservations and by 5:30 the place was standing room only. The dining area has about 16 tables with a fairly good size bar area. We had different dishes from 1/2 a chicken, veal cutlet, swordfish, pasta, calamari, and veal scallopine.... More

I have been eating a Roberts for years- and never disappointed. Food is very nice, they have a balsamic Chicken dish that I love and also a Chicken with hot peppers that is very good. Their pastas are fabulous and unfortunately for my waist line the bread is best ever!

The only restaurant nearly this good in New York is Chef's Roberto's other restaurant around the corner called Zero Otto Nove. It must be satisfying to have you as your only competition. Immaculate food included grilled octopus and spicy grilled pasta (yes grilled pasta). An excellent wine list complements well-prepared mixed drinks (martinis include 4 ingredients including the ice and... More

Arthur avenue can be a little bit like Disneyland at times but this restaurant offers a little out of the way corner of excellence both in cuisine and service. It is not inexpensive but the portions are huge so prepare the doggy bag. The combinations are inventive and the pasta is homemade. The stracciatella was stupendous and the sausage invigorating
