We are from San Antonio and were visiting Manhattan. Wanted to see Arthur Avenue so there we were, wandering around, looking at the groceries, pasta shops and cigar stores. Coming out of one of those cigar stores we ran into three gentlemen who reminded us of characters from The Sopranos. They were standing outside, smoking cigars and eating fresh oysters... More

We have dined at Zero so many times over the years I cannot count them. Our last two visits were very disappointing. The most recent visit, the Prosecco was flat, the special appetizer was not what the waiter described and the fava beans were a mushy mess. The eggplant parm although tasty was cold. Our pizza was burnt on the... More

Been going to Zero Otto Nove on average 3 times per year since it opened. The food and service have always been well above average. Except for the last few times. Our last visit was for lunch 1/10/15. We were seated almost 15 minutes before a server came to the table. Drink orders were taken and not quite delivered. One... More

Wanted to get some good Italian food before the Pinstripe Bowl so figured on Arthur Avenue and walked into Zero Otto Nove. Got there just in time as waiting area filled up after we arrived, waited about 10 minutes for a table. Had the Insalata Caprino e Pera which was very good as where the Calamari. My son ordered the... More

We dined early dinner for celebrating new year 2015. 3 of us ordered as follows: Pizza Diavola Mussel with tomato and Italian herb sauce Today's special: combinations of grilled meats and sautéed potatoes and vegetables. We liked their pizza best. But the other 3 dishes were below expectations. First off, tomato sauce of mussel dish was way too salty. For... More

We were visiting Arthur Ave and we choice this restaurant by chance. It was well worth it. The bread and olive oil was like we have had in Italy. There was eleven of us and we ordered two antipastos. The meats and cheese were top quality. Seven of us ordered pizza. Those with red sauce were treated to authentic sauce... More

During our first time at Arthur Ave we decided to have lunch at this restaurant and we were very pleased with our choice. On entering, the warm decor was inviting and charming. The dining room was small but with its high ceiling and lovely decor it was cozy not crowded. The wall mural of Italian architect and the servers with... More

Good pizza selection with crisp and chewy crust. Truly reminds me of the best Italian pizza. Love the porcini mushrooms rather than the usual plain cultivated mushroom you find. Peroni beer is a nice complement. Did not try their menu, but they have lots of other interesting items. Best in the evening as the feeling of being in a small... More

By and large, the best Italian restaurant outside of Italy. Had lunch today. The bread was awesome. The salad was great. I had the special - spaghetti with butternut squash puree was beyond the pale of greatness. The service - spot on. The decor - like sitting on a patio somewhere in Italy. I truly can not find anything negative... More
