great place

The front is very small and deceiving. Then you enter a modest bar area. Then a narrow cave like hallway. There is is a huge Italian Grotto like room with high ceilings (very loud and noisy). Waiters are all young fast and friendly and there are plenty of them. Great Drinks, great bread, and an... read more

Try the Don Diablo with spicy salami, it's my current fav pizza ever, I don't say this lighthearted, it's absolutely amazing. I also recommend skipping desert and head across the street, there's a bakery right across (forgot the name). promise you will eat the tastiest canoli you ever had, I don't even like canoli but this is unreal. Damn, writing... More

After visiting the NY Botanical Gardens, we took a detour to my childhood haunts of Arthur Ave. We go several times a year to shop for all those Italian specialty foods and bring them back to NJ. We decided to have lunch at Zero Otto Nove. As always it was a delight to the taste buds. The bucatini with artichokes... More

We often go to Arthur Avenue to get our Italian favorites (my wife grew up not far away) and we usually are in and out before the restaurant is open. But today we got lucky. After the Botanical Gardens and shopping, my wife and I shared an appy and entrée. We began with butternut squash with sausage and beans that... More

We were there with 6 people, the food ranged from average to very good. Pleasant environment but the noise factor is BAD for your health. A few carpets and plants would improve this dramatically. Otherwise a place to come back to.

All these years I've been living in the Little Italy neighborhood and I finally got to have lunch here. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and I felt like I was sitting in an out door cafe in Italy. Can't wait to go back!

Another really good restaurant on Arthur Ave. The food across all the dishes we had was very tasty & well prepared. We experienced a slight service glitch where I ordered a glass of wine when the entree arrived, but the waiter forgot & didn't bring it until I half way through my meal. They didn't charge me for the wine... More

Mario batalli would NEVER invite family or friends to dine in the back of the restaurant otto. Even our waiter apologized The noise level was worse than any sporting event. No plants or carpets are on site to diminish the sound and tables are literally on top of each other. Food is good but the environment is so âwful I... More

The ambiance of Zero is refreshing; the slants of sunshine from the very high skylight and the painted street scenes emerge after you walk down that long stuccoed hallway. The staff are friendly without hovering. I had the butternut squash soup, which could have been a meal in itself. My entree was a special risotto with eggplant baked at the... More
