We have dined a ZON a number of times but our most recent visit was exceptional. Charming and efficient service. A great bottle of wine. My veal scaloppini was off the chart while the three services for the rest of my family were equally succulent, including a lamb osso bucco, octopus and clams, and a silky swordfish risotto. All were... More

The atmosphere is really the only reason I'd go back again. When you walk from the entrance into the dining room, you walk down a hall that's made to look and feel like a street in Italy. The dining room continues that feeling. You feel like you are sitting in a piazza. There is an outdoor scene painted on the... More

We had a very enjoyable lunch. The dining room is very pretty- gives the feeling of being in Italy. They have a nice menu- pasta dishes, entrees, salads, pizzas. My husband and I shared everything. We ordered Margherita Pizza and added mushrooms. It was very fresh and tasty. In addition we shared the Parmesan Melanzane- a very tasty eggplant dish.... More

This restaurant is a gem on Arthur avenue. Authentic and delicious Italian food. The bread is fresh as is the pasta and the dishes are authentic and well portioned. If you have room for dessert- dig in!

Little Italy in the Bronx makes for a nice stop after a day at the zoo, as we quickly learned. Some say it's better than Little Italy in Manhattan- we're not sure if one is better than the other, so we'll just concede that both have their attributes. As for the Bronx, we did a little research to find the... More

My wife, adult daughter and I visited this restaurant for the first time. The food was wonderful---my daughter enjoyed the butternut squash pizza, my wife loved her risotto of the day special, and I enjoyed a delicious pesce risotto dish. The service was impeccable, though the noise level made it difficult to hear the many specials of the day, which... More

The linguine al nero di seppia and pizza are the bomb!!! Excellent and attentive service. It can be a bit loud but only until your food arrives....then you'll forget the noise.

Try the Don Diablo with spicy salami, it's my current fav pizza ever, I don't say this lighthearted, it's absolutely amazing. I also recommend skipping desert and head across the street, there's a bakery right across (forgot the name). promise you will eat the tastiest canoli you ever had, I don't even like canoli but this is unreal. Damn, writing... More
