We were a group of 5 sisters, celebrating one sister's birthday. The food was delicious and plentiful. Also great antipasto and hot garlic bread, yum! Even better than the food was the service! Our server, Antonio, made our celebration even more special by his excellent service and friendly personality. He made us feel like family. We all agreed we will... More

I love going to restaurant's that make you feel special. This is especially true for the Lobster House. My sisters and I felt the service was outstanding. We were fortunate to get a server called Antonio. We were given the royal treatment. My sister felt special. Antonio made sure we left with a big smile on our face. The food was... More

Came here for the first time today for a family birthday celebration, my wife's cousin is 70! Well the staff was great! The service was excellent & the food was outstanding! Great appetizers, very tasty salads & antipasto. My lobster tail was great. Everyone had a wonderful time, in fact we still are!

My husband and I went last night. The food: I ordered the snow crab legs, boiled and he ordered the steak. Both meals were delicious and plentiful. We had no room for dessert but we were more than pleased with the meal. The Service: Everyone was friendly. Our waitress was attentive and personable. The manager stopped by to ensure all... More

Once again the Island was calling, warm weather, late afternoon, no better place to enjoy basic seafood. The Lobster House, represents the quintessential City Island restaurant. Not too fancy, not too expensive, and not too complex with the dishes. The fare could be better, but after all, it is what it is. This is a fun place to enjoy a... More

Get there early. We got there at 5:00 pm and the place was empty, ten minutes later you could not find a seat even if you paid for it. Now if you love seafood, then this is the place. Beautifully presented, soft delicate lobster tails or whole lobster. My wife is 5' 4" high and she ate an entire lobster,... More

Reasonably priced and really delicious. My expectations were low for this ancient staple but the quality was great, as was the value. A wonderful lobster dinner for a reasonable price, if you happen to find yourself in City Island.

Nice place with good seafood... Has an outdoor deck that overlooks a small marina... Food here is pretty good... As much as I like it sometimes they don't pay attention to details... Some of the staff seems rushed and overwhelmed... It's still good place to eat... Parking they have valet parking here

While the pricing is set a little high, it was just nice. The food was good but could have been better. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, however upon entering there was no hostess to greet you and seat you, and when she did finally show up we told her we would like to be seated out side and... The place feels like it has been there forever, which is part of the laid back City Island charm. I love the lobster, shrimp combo with corn on the cob, slaw and lots of melted butter. Delicious. Its not cheap but sitting on the deck, eating seafood and watching the sun go down is true summer bliss. I am already... More
