New Owners rescue a once popular Steakhouse!

We had avoided "the old Flames", which had average food and poor staff, but a change in Management and a refurbished redesign has us giving this restaurant 5 STARS!. The Staff could not be more Welcoming. Manager John ready to assist and the Steak.. OUTSTANDING!

OMG! Flames in Briarcliff is under new ownership & its AMAZING!!! Went tonight for dinner, the calamari was easily the best I've ever had. My boyfriend had a T-Bone steak that was reminiscent of Peter Lugers in the city & equally as good. I had the chicken parm, which was thin, crispy and delicious. My boyfriend actually commented that he... More

Food was poor, service worse. Strongly suggest you avoid this place. Waiter interrupted every minute or two to ask if everything was ok. I finally had to ask him to leave us alone. I asked why he interrupted every minute or two he said that there had been so many complaints of the food and service the manager had ordered... More

My family and I love flames. The food is always great. The atmosphere always warm and great service. The menu is so easy to find what you like. Anyone can eat at flames. Steak, chicken, veal, shrimp, pasta tons of sides. When we finished one side the owner brought us an entire new one. It is a nice calm restaurant.... More

Flames is not cheap, but you can't get a better steak even in NYC! They know what they are doing here. They age their own meat and there is simply nothing like it. The dining room was recently redone and it's an elegant place to go. You will pay top dollar, but it's worth it. Staff is very efficient and... More

WORST DINNING EXPERIENCE IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY! Completely overpriced for a mediocre place at best. Don't buy the sales pitch that this is a NYC quality steakhouse. The steak was mediocre, the cream spinach and potatoes were terrible, appetizers blah, and our waiter, a tall guy I think named John was rather obnoxious. I should have known I was in for... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants and one of the reasons why is that it is ALWAYS an outstanding meal. Even the best restaurants have trouble keeping the quality and service up on holidays however Flames does not. It was the same quality and service as any other night. They did not skip a beat! The staff was on... More

I recently moved to the area from New York City and can honestly say the steak is on par or better than what the best NYC steakhouses have to offer. The eggplant rollatini is also a must have and is unlike any rollatini I have ever tasted. The wine and dessert lists are also top notch. Overall a great experience.
