Great ambiance and outdoor patio, attentive and knowledgable staff. Unfortunately, the food doesn't make the cut for what is rumored to be the best in Westchester. Their "signature" porterhouse for two was one of the worst cuts of meat I've had in a long time, and the mushroom side was definitely not steakhouse quality. Lump crab cocktail was fresh but... More

Ambience and service is nice. Not great quality meats. Attentive and accommodating service for sure, but not worth the trip back. We'll stick with BLT Steak.

This place would be OK as a moderately priced neighborhood family restaurant. As a pricey steakhouse it doesn't make the grade. The food is fair, but not a the level I would expect from a place with these pretensions. Service and ambiance are fine.

The steak was tough the lobster was terrible and the prices were too high. Nice ambiance and attentive staff

Our teenage sons LOVE Flames and their wonderful steaks. We love all the delicious sides and good wine selections. The service is beyond compare, if typically steakhouse stuffy. We are so lucky to have Flames right in our backyard. One of the best steakhouses in Westchester County.

I wanted to add a comment after reading Linda's comments about service. The food is excellent -hands down. Over the years I have both entertained and been entertained at Flames. I am a professional woman in the securities industry for over thirty years and it is my firm belief that women are treated differently than men at Flames Steak House/Restaurant.... More

Checked out flames for the first time on a Thursday night. My wife and I were the only table they had until about 6:45 which I found strange. I had the veal special my wife had the filet mignon both were soooooo salty. The veal was truly appetizer sized and the steak was nothing to brag about. They had a... More

Don't know what the fuss is all about. Steak was OK; server had an unpleasant attitude; felt pretentious; way too expensive for the quality of the food and poor attitude of the staff. I've had better steak at Legal Seafood!

I consider myself a steak guy and always a regular at Peter Luger. I tried Flames last night and loved the steak at Flames. I could not believe that there is a place in Weschester that makes a steak exactly (if not better) like Luger. Ofcourse the decor is a lot better than luger and choice of sides far exceeds... More

Flames is a very good steakhouse. The quality of the. Eat is always excellent. They are one of the few places around that has Kobe steak. Appetizers are a nice selection. Service is friendly. The second reason to come here is they have the second best wine cellar in Westchester County and I like the food here better then the... More
