My title sums it up. The view of the water was very nice. There is an entire wall of windows facing the water which adds to the ambiance. The restaurant seems to be tired, worn, and in need of an update. I think if they painted a fresh light color throughout the interior, that would be a great new beginning!!... More

We searched in the Syracuse area for good food - not fast food and not really fancy - just good home cooked food in a great setting and we struck gold! From the entrance we almost didn't go in but decided to give it a try. Once inside it opens up to floor to ceiling glass overlooking the Oneida River... More

Avoid! This place deserves 0 stars. I wish I had seen these other TripAdvisor reviews. Only come here for a bottled beverage! We joked afterward that it's a great place for a beer and a home-made picnic as it has a decent water view. Don't eat the food! And don't expect average or even decent service. This restaurant is horrendous!... More

First tip: don't use mapquest for direction to the restaurant from city of syracuse. It was wrong at the end. When you hit route 11 N, go over the green bridge in brewerton, the next traffic light, turn right to route 37, next to the mirabito gas station. The sign on the street was not noticeable. The restaurant is on... More

Service was horrible. Bartender was rude and not very accommodating. Was disappointed we were staying for dinner. She was the only one there and was about to leave. By the way it was 4:50 when we arrived . She let it be known that she was done At 5:00. When does the chef and staff start? Certainly not like it... More

Went with my family on Easter for their buffet. The food was subpar. Noone ever waited on us, we got our own drinks and just went up to the buffet. We probably could have walked out of there without paying because they had no idea. They were more attentive to large parties, we only had 5. They were very unorganized.... More

Went to a 'sock hop' at castaways. Band was good Food was so-so The sink in the men's room did not have running water The bar service was confused-- they kept sending us from one bar to the other to get our drinks. Got 3 'Bailys on the rocks' for my wife, this was served in 3 differnet sized glasses.

Took my family there on someone's recomendation. They had a seefood bufet, if that is what they called it. I orderd from the menue, I think an eight year old could have cooked better. I think the flies were having a better time than we were.

There idea of loaded fries is one level(not a single fry on top of the other), with immitation cheese and immitation bacon bits! Interior is fromthe 70's. The owner lives in an old 5th wheel onthe property. Enough said!
