Has potential and a little high priced

There isn't much to eat in Brewerton, so my husband and I decided to eat dinner there one night. The service was a little slow and there wasn't a lot of people in there. We ordered our food and although my chichen dish wasn't bad, it was swimming in a garlic butter sauce. It is an instance... read more

On a recent Thursday night we went for dinner. I have to say the last couple times there have not been impressive, after this last time I probably won't be back. The prices are going up and the food going down. Ordered the chicken and eggplant with spag, chicken was the size of a silver dollar, the 2 slices of... More

Usually visit the bar area where you can either sit at the bar or at pub tables and enjoy beverages and order from the full menu. Many drink specials throughout the week from Sunday thru Thursday. A very friendly family atmosphere with great bartenders....

We have been dining at DG's for a number of years and the atmosphere has always been very friendly, warm and the staff very accommodating. The Italian food is above average, but the other dishes are very good including my favorite the Delmonico "Sizzler'. I ordered that recently and forgot how much the plate actually sizzled, steamed and made noise... More

Stopped by after visiting another restaurant which was awful. Never had been there before. Food was good.

We have been there several times recently & had many different items. We were never disappointed. The salad with chicken is a good summer meal. Chicken parm is a favorite, with a generous serving. Lasagna is one of my favorites. The salad & bread is always fresh. It is a favorite local restaurant & often is crowed, but there is usually not a... More

I ate at DG's again this week after a hiatus of a couple years. This is a nice place to dine, although I wouldn't really label it as "Italian," as some folks do. Their menu is pretty much universal, and runs the gamut from pasta to beef to seafood and more. I ordered a scallops Florentine dish that was really... More

This has been a favorite destination of ours for years, but they are now headed in the wrong direction. Food is headed for the cheap side. Cheap, Frozen seafood. Our meals were poor. Over cooked meat, undrained pasta that left puddles on my plate. Why on earth do you microwave your bread! Lazy! It was hard and like taffy within... More

You have to appreciate a place that serves an outstanding 16-ounce New York strip steak with a side of pasta and fresh bread. This place does all that. It makes its marinara fresh daily and that's a plus. Add to that hot apple pie ala mode for dessert and this is one of the best eateries in the Northern Syracuse... More

DG's is rather family-oriented, though I have gone on wonderful dates there, too. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is really patient, which is great bc I'm one of those people that talk instead of figuring out what I want to eat. I usually get their shrimp alfredo and have enough leftover to last me two lunches. I love... More
