Went on a recommendation from good friends. As with many other reviews that reflect on the food and service rather than focusing so much on the setting (many places have wonderful settings....and Algonquin is no exception. Very pretty Lake George), But I'm paying for the food and service....the view is free. Paid $13 for my pecan, sunflower seed, cranberry salad;... More

The crab cakes are shameful, worst I have ever had. The fish tacos were good and salmon salad was okay. The man behind me sent back his soup because it was cold. Definitely worth it for the view and marina action, but just go for a drink.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel as a god spot for lunch. It is on the water so the view was great. However we ordered a fish dish which was supposed to be their specialty. We had never seen fish prepared like that, and it was totally tasteless.

Our family sat out on the deck and thoroughly enjoyed the view of the lake. Very picturesque. The food was average and seemed over priced for what we received. I ordered a main salad with grilled chicken on top which was very unexciting; mostly lettuce. My husband and I concluded that the best part of the Algonquin is its' location... More

The food was not very good, the atmispere was very Lake friendly, it overlooks a nice bay, but it also overlooks a gas station with wave runner rentals and parasailing, So there is a lot going on. The food seemed as though it was pre preparred and heated up, nothing was fresh, the salads were willty and warm. Good drinks... More

We dined in the formal dining room upstairs. Fantastic view of the lake. Service was professional and friendly.

Great place in Bolton Landing to eat. It is a lakeside restaurant where you can eat looking out over the lake. Docks are part of the property where boaters can dock and eat lunch or dinner.

Good thing it was a beautiful warm summer afternoon, not in any hurry, just enjoying the scenery... because either our waitress forgot to place our order or the cooks were on siesta! We waited over an hour for our steaks... when dinner finally arrived we had to send one well done steak back as we ordered it rare! Miraculously, it... More

If you love consistently good food and a waterfront setting that includes gorgeous antique wooden boats on the docks, this is the place to be! It never fails to provide a reminder of how beautiful Lake George is. Whether you want a casual meal at the bar overlooking the water, or the Greek Shrimp that is a staple on the... More

The food is fantastic. Charbroiled burgers that were cooked exactly as ordered. Food is worth the price. View is beautiful. We usually arrive via boat, and dock right at the restaurant.
