During our 5 hour trip to Oswego, we stop at Cracker Barrel as our midpoint rest stop to eat breakfast. First it was a walk through of the unique merchandise that is offered for sale. We were greeted by the hostess and seated fast. There are different, numerous and interesting antique style decorations placed throughout the interior of the restaurant.... More

The food isn't praise worthy, but it is good and satisfying, for the most part. I personally find their stew to be a joke. Like all the other chain restaurants it is consistent. This cracker barrel is the same as those along the I95. Which is a good thing when you need to pull off for food and are not... More

Its not every day you get rubber eggs served at the Cracker Barrel but when you do there is a chance we might not stop here again during our travels north. More likely they sat under the heat lamp too long since this place can be busy. We are always looking for Cracker Barrels during our trips since I enjoy... More

We have been to other Cracker Barrels and made a quick last minute decision from the highway while on our way to NYC. Stopped for breakfast and very disappointed. I had been driving all night and was quite hungry. I ordered the Sunrise Sampler which had a taste of all the meats, sausage, ham and bacon and two eggs with... More

Ate their classic Chicken 'n Dumplings, and it was delicious. I wasn't necessarily blown away with the dough or the chicken alone, but together they were fantastic. With some gravy, mashed potatoes, and broccoli, I was completely satisfied with this Southern meal. Would definitely recommend.

I love cracker barrel restaurants since they can be excellent at getting you seated and back on the road fast. This was no exception. The waitstaff were very efficient, food was out before I could finish checking emails and responding to texts that had come in during my three hour drive. Food was great -- hot stuff was hot and... We stopped at this Cracker Barrel on the way to & back from Atlantic City. Fortunately our tour guide had a couple of menus on board the bus so we could decide ahead what to have as they offer sooo many choices. It's hard to decide but I went with Catfish both times since the low cal chicken I wanted... More

I was on a bus trip on my way to Salem, MA and we stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I had just ordered my food when I got a message that a family member was in the ER and extremely ill. I called my husband to come and get me & my friend to take us home (2 hours... More
