We visited The Number 5 for my birthday. I had the barrel cut tenderloin, and the Mrs. had the Greek stuffed tenderloin. Both were delicious. The au gratin taters arrived half cooked, but our server Cole made it right. He was wonderfully helpful the entire evening. He said he was new on the job, but we never would have guessed.... More

Unmatched menu choices, deliciously prepared, knowledgeable staff, unexpected luxuries. A fine dining experience worth every penny. The owner was told it was our first visit and stooped by the table to talk with us, a nice personal touch. Amazing food and service, not to be missed. In a major city there would be lines down the block seven days a... More

Number 5 is located in an old Fire Station on the South side of Binghamton,is one of those places to go for special occasions while in the Southern Tier. We ate upstairs, the service was top notch and the waitress was very informative. #5 has a wide selection of food, my wife had the risotto with two of the biggest... More

We were in the area...parents week at Binghamton University..our dilemma is always where to eat..well, this old fire house turned out to be a worthwhile trip..there's ample parking on premise.you need to make a reservation ..otherwise you'll wait ...interestingly you enter through revolving doors( I found that a bit odd,but pleasantly odd).. There are several hostesses..each friendly and accommodating ..there's... More

Number 5 is one of those places to go for special occasions while in the Southern Tier. Located in an old Fire Station on the South side of Binghamton, Number 5 has good menu. My wife and I went their for our 38th anniversary and had not been there for several years. We had reservations which I would recommend. First... More

This is a great spot for a night occasion/ big meal. I love the bread and it can really lead to filling you up. Dinners can come with salad or soup which really adds to having no more for dessert.

We arrived on a Saturday night, around 5pm, without a reservation. The staff was very accommodating, and even though they were "booked", were able to find us a table. We were out on a "date night" Sponsored by Lincoln, and this was one of the recommended restaurants. We're glad we chose it. Fresh baked bread to start out, with a... More

Had supper here for the first time in about a decade. Wine flights were great. Ahi tuna entree was unbeatable. Loved the grated ginger! Will definitely be back.

Stopped for dinner. Sat in bar and ordered off bar menu. Burger was truly excellent. My wife had the Cobb salad. Huge!!! They were not busy and service was excellent. Only downside was music was up a tad too high. Other than I would come back for the burger truly worth it.
