Love the Spot restaurant. It has been there for many years and is a favorite of the local folks for good reason. The food is delicious and you get large quantities. Breakfast is especially good. Also try the Greek entries. Loved the Souvlaki with Tzatziki sauce. Worth a visit when you are in Binghamton.

Good food and very quick service. The portions are very generous, the menu extensive. We really enjoyed the complimentary glass of beer Fridays!

When traveling in the US, we try to avoid the fast food chain restaurants as we get enough fat and salt in our diet normally. Diners are usually a good bet so we tried the Spot when we stayed one Friday night in Binghamton. The first pleasant surprise was when the server said it was "Free beer Friday" in that... More

We live about 40 minutes from here and use this restaurant more than any other. There are a good number of specials to choose from, rarely a waiting time because the restaurant has 3 dining areas, the food is good and comes quickly. We particularly like their broiled haddock because it's flaky & fresh. Breakfast is available 24/7 and they... More

Great service. Waitress was wonderful. Very accommodating had a typical eggs bacon home fries meal and it was very good.

We stopped by around 10 pm after a full day on the road. Place was busy as usual for a Friday night. Had a the three decker turkey club, my friend had the pot-roast. Large portions, roast was nicely cooked. The sandwich was huge, esp combined with a side of fries. Decent tasting - vegetables on the sandwich were fresh,... More

This is a convenient restaurant off the interstate, and by looks and menu we were enthused. That ended with the soup, Pasta Fagioli, which was nothing like grandma would make, or even Olive Garden. The pasta was cooked to a near mush, and the beans were almost like those out of a can of baked beans. Nothing to write home... More

I ordered a Greek salad with Grilled Chicken. The cook put fresh lettuce on top and the bottom was loaded with brown lettuce. When I complained to the manager he claimed it was the end of the day and the lettuce turned brown. I told him he shouldn't serve spoiled food to his patrons. My daughter had the Greek platter... My family and I dine here about once or twice a month as it is convenient and rarely crowded. The trick to having a good meal at the Spot is to choose your menu items wisely. Breakfast is nearly always a good bet with traditional diner breakfast choices, they don't get really fancy but portions are generous and food comes... More

The spot is a nice place to go when you need a lot of choices. I have had many items over the past 20 years and have enjoyed most all. Portions always good size. Fish a specialty. I can not say I liked the fried octopus . reasonable prime rib also. Sorry to see it is no longer open 24... More
