Nice little bar

The bartender was extremely nice and suggested the buffalo mozzarella sticks, which was pretty good. It was right across the street where I was staying at so it was the best place to get drunk in a town I don't know.

I always stop in at Tom & Marty's when I'm in B'town. It's a great local place with a good crowd and friendly barstaff. The service is always quick and friendly. I am not usually out late, but I understand they have quite a late-night following!

Been coming here on-and-off since at least 1977. I remember the days of Drazen's across the street, Woolworths around the corner, and the droves of business people purposefully ambling up Court Street. Jobs downtown were aplenty. How times do change. From generation-to-generation people come here, even for a Labatt's on Shabbat (Jewish Sabbath). Yes, even my grandfather had come here... More

If you're into a lively bar scene with a YOUNGER crowd -- i.e., college age and just out of college, the entire State St. strip might be for you. LOUD, raucous, and heavily policed by Binghamton's best and brightest. (Let's just call them the Binghamton's PD. BPD HQ is just around the corner -- so behave yourself!) On Thursday nights... More

Great place to eat lunch. Sometimes, if a special calls for it, they'll make mashed potatoes. These are the best mashed potatoes I've ever had (and I've had a lot of mashed potatoes). Tom & Marty's is located in Binghamton's drinking district, so at night it is often overrun with Binghamton University students. On Tuesday nights at 11pm they run... More
