Restaurant Week Lunch:very good

We stopped in for lunch during Binghamton's restaurant week. At $10 for 3 courses ,this offering was a super bargain! We tried the soup, chicken that came with hand made noodles ( thus took a little longer but we were warned by our server). It was well worth the wait. The zuppe ( a kale potato... read more

Tried Taste of Europe in Binghamton for lunch today. It's located in an old fast good restaurant buliding. Anyways thought I would try Borscht. Very good! The pieorgies were wonderful. My husband had Halupki, just like mom made. The place is very clean and friendly. I would recommend it.

Restaurant is very attractive & classy inside. They specialize in Ukrainian & European foods. I had the chicken-stuffed mushrooms, borsht, buckwheat with onion & bacon, & my husband had Plov chicken and potato wedges. My husband's food was too cold (they seemed to be short-handed so that was probably why) & tasted average. Much of my food was good but... More

Well, I’d like to start off by saying that we eat out often enough that I simply do not have the time to write reviews of all the restaurants we frequent. Every once and a while, though, I feel compelled to speak up based on a particularly positive or negative experience. Tonight was one of those nights… We had previously... More

Had the stuffed mushrooms. They were very good. The soup was excellent. It had sausage and potatoes.

We were there for my daughter's b'day for lunch on 19 Sept. Everything was fabulous.... Great job on the property and restaurant. Best of luck and longevity to you and the business.

We ate dinner at The Taste of Europe on Court St. Binghamton NY. The operation just moved here from another Binghamton location and re-opened in September 2014. The food was delicious but priced a little high. The waistaff was helpful and friendly. Varied menu and tasty. They are starting to rebuild clientele and will become a popular spot.

I had a parmesan crusted shrimp plate that was very good, it did not advertise that the sauce was like alfredo, so it was very rich, but price was $20 for the plate and did not come with any soup or salad, so a bit pricy in my opinon, my aunt had halupkis and they were $10.95 or $11.95 and... The perogies were smaller than my family makes and the dough was a bit tougher. We tried both the potato and the cabbage, they were OK. They do not come with sautéed onions as we are used to. The borscht was pretty darn good! The halupki had a different sauce than we are used to. We know the tomato based... More

The staff & owner will tell you everything you may want to know about this middle-Europoean cuisine. It's all good.
