Restaurant located in Double Tree by Hilton Hotel. As it was Sunday, the menu is condensed but the choice was quite suitable for us. Enjoyed it very much.

We hadn't visited since Doubletree hotels bought and renovated this property, but saw their newspaper ad for a Mother's Day Brunch and decided to make a noon reservation. Boy howdy are we happy that we did! Brunch was served in the grand ballroom which is spacious and lovely to begin with, and was specially decorated with large colorful spring flowers... More

We ordered room service from the River Bistro via the hang tag provided in our room. We requested a 9-9:15 delivery. The phone rang at 7:30 am, waking us up telling us they were out of some of what we ordered. The food was then delivered 45 minutes prior to the delivery window requested. Worst was the food was all... More

On most hotel stays I tend to avoid eating at the in house restaurant. I did catch a glimpse of the menu they had on the wall nearby. Decided for one evening to have dinner there and see what its like. For starters the dining room was a tad empty as I gotten there half hour they started dinner service.... More

Dinner was good. They serve you water in a cute little carafe. I was lucky to enough to Anika as my server. Very pleasant lady. Now for breakfast. I had the buffet. One of the best breakfast buffets I've been to. I wasn't the biggest I've been to, but the food was very good.

Went for lunch during Restaurant Week. Liked the decor and service, but food was just average. Soup was fine, but lacked flavor, as did chicken pot pie. Crust was slightly underdone. Apple turnover a la mode was tasty, but nothing special. My mom had a reuben with fries.Plenty of corned beef- she liked it. Good deal at $10, but not... More

We ate at the River Bistro on Sunday, May 5th and were surprised that although the décor was attractive and the staff were very attentive the food was a disappointment. My husband had a steak which was pricy considering it was fatty. I had a chicken entrée which was overcooked and the sauce was salty. We had eaten at the... More

We ate at The River Bistro on March 5th before the Celtic Women Concert. Our table of four enjoyed our meals and service. The Hotel is changing it's image to a Hilton Doubletree. They made some nice changes including this restaurant. The food presentation was done well and our waitress was very attentive. The music was low and in the... More

Food was good, my burger was cooked just about right. Food and Drink prices typical for a hotel bar (high). Bartender friendly and was quick with refills, but the place was not busy at all, so service should be good.

I dined at The River Bistro again was very pleased with the experience. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu selections. The food was excellent with a nice presentation and decent sized portions. My only complaint is the modern decor is very cold and not very inviting. Our server did tell us they will be remodeling shortly... More
