Picked this place based on good trip advisor ratings. Great breakfast for a great price. The palace was packed on a Friday morning.

This diner is a little known gem in downtown Binghamton, New York. Small and unobtrusive, yet big on good food and great prices. There's no fancy bldg. and no big neon signs to help you find Chris' diner. But well worth the search because you really do get plenty of good food at a great price. They run specials everyday... The bacon cheeseburger was excellent! Juicy and a lot of bacon! I requested the bacon extra crispy and it actually was cooked the way I like it! Nice fresh bun too. I also had a "cup" of their potato-bacon-cheddar soup and it was very good too. I thought that the waitress brought me the bowl of soup but she explained... More

Huge servings, nice service staff, very low prices. A staple for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Will go again.

We were in town for a wedding and the front desk recommended Chris' Diner for Breakfast. We are from NJ and are used to over-the-top diners. Chris was a throw-back to an old time country restaurant. They were mobbed at 10:00am when we arrived and understaffed. But the waitress was kind and got us seated as soon as possible. She... More

Service is good and friendly. Food is good and value for money. Located behind the bus station. A lot of local frequent this dinner. The lentil soup is very good and filling.

This is a good old fashioned breakfast (didn't try any lunch items) at a great price. Nothing fancy, but fresh fare served quickly done just right. The pancakes are HUGE and delicious, omelets were done well and the bacon was crisp and flavorful. If you are staying at the Double Tree, skip their breakfast and walk over here.

I come here for breakfast all the time. Very good, filling and cheap. My favorite is the omelets and big blueberry pancakes. They get really crowded on the weekends and you kind of just sit down when you see a table free, but someone comes to clean it pretty quickly.

While looking for a good breakfast spot I found this place. Typical diner - friendly waitresses - lots of food - not a whole lot of money (inexpensive, not cheap). Love this place. Only problem - no grits.

In my mind I recall a steaming warm, convivial place on a cold winter day. The steamy interior filled with people getting down to the business of eating a hearty breakfast. Simply delicious, you will be well stocked for the rest of the morning. Just in time for lunch.
