Great atmosphere, service was awesome, food was wonderful. We sat in the bar/lounge area. Great menu and beverage selection. There is also a fire pit outside where you can roast marshmallows...saw a few parents with their kids doing that and it was adorable. Great evening all around.

The ribs are said to be a signature dish. They were too saucy for my liking. Too much sauce took away from the flavor of the meat. I had quinoa with calamata olives. I could not find any olives. The atmosphere is cozy. I sat in the pub area which is great, but, the smoke and smell from the fire... More

We appreciate your feedback. We are also happy to see such high scores for our service. We are quite proud of our team here and it's lovely that their efforts are recognized. I was concerned over your assessment of our braised beef short ribs, which are braised, in veal stock and red wine for over 10 hours - making them... More

We live 45 minutes, 37 miles from this restaurant. I would travel twice the time / distance to eat there again. The venue is beautiful. There are three sections: tavern side, main dining room and outside. You cannot go wrong in any of these settings. The food was yum yum yummy. The service, perfect. Check it out - you will... More

Hard to believe this quality of food in "the middle of nowhere" in the Catskills. Wonderful outdoor seating, that on this lovely summer evening, enhanced the experience. The trout was served with a tasty (but not overwhelming) sauce, and my guest's veal was excellently prepared. Would recommend...great wine selection too!

The Peekamoose Restaurant was the lovely setting for a wedding rehearsal dinner for 30 guests. The outside deck was a great place for guests to gather and enjoy a drink. Later we were seated inside at long tables that were perfectly set up for the party. The groom's parents had organized the menu and everything from soups, salads, main courses... More

it sounds like the bar is the place to eat and hang out. Very nice atmosphere, interesting decorations. The chopped salad for $12 was a tiny portion, served in a steel bowl. The meat selection was good, ranging from $27-$35, but the pork chops were undercooked. If you want to try something different, good place, but be prepared to pay... More

Hello and thank you for your review. I'm pleased to see the 5 star rating for our service; our team goes through intense training and it's nice that their attention and talent are being recognized. Insofar as the meat prices, which range from $22 to $35, we source exclusively from local farmers - and not dealing with large agribusiness, we... More

I was visiting the Catskills for a long weekend and my friends and I checked out this restaurant because it was very close to Pine Hill. Three of us got the 3 course meal with a salad, steak frites and ice cream. The salad was light and a nice way to start the meal. The steak frites were absolutely delicious,... More

Thank you for your lovely review! We are proud to offer ten draft beers - almost all from New York State. In order to insure freshness, we only purchase smaller kegs - so the selling out of a popular one, such as the Ommegang Witte (which is a seasonal, summer brew) can easily happen in the name of quality and... We have been here a few times and we found the restaurant to be one of the best. The first time I came here I had the wood grilled sirloin and it was cooked to perfection. Its hard to get a prime cut of sirloin at a restaurant outside NYC that is truly "prime aged" Peekamoose delivers every time I... More

Peekamoose consistently surpasses my expectations when it comes to fine dining! Their grass fed slope burger is my favorite burger anywhere! The trout my girlfriend ordered was fantastic! The service is always friendly and accommodating! Plus I love the decor, adds to the ambiance. We're always excited to return to Peekamoose, our favorite place!
