I was visiting the Catskills for a long weekend and my friends and I checked out this restaurant because it was very close to Pine Hill. Three of us got the 3 course meal with a salad, steak frites and ice cream. The salad was light and a nice way to start the meal. The steak frites were absolutely delicious,... More

Thank you for your lovely review! We are proud to offer ten draft beers - almost all from New York State. In order to insure freshness, we only purchase smaller kegs - so the selling out of a popular one, such as the Ommegang Witte (which is a seasonal, summer brew) can easily happen in the name of quality and... This is hands down the best restaurant in the Catskills and it's kid friendly!! It was so good that we came back for another meal! We had: Gnocchi with pesto and tomato puree - great Burger - terrific Kinko Goat Fazzoletti - yum Corn Ice cream - unique and delicious!! ________________________________________________________________ The staff is super friendly. We have been here a few times and we found the restaurant to be one of the best. The first time I came here I had the wood grilled sirloin and it was cooked to perfection. Its hard to get a prime cut of sirloin at a restaurant outside NYC that is truly "prime aged" Peekamoose delivers every time I... More

Peekamoose consistently surpasses my expectations when it comes to fine dining! Their grass fed slope burger is my favorite burger anywhere! The trout my girlfriend ordered was fantastic! The service is always friendly and accommodating! Plus I love the decor, adds to the ambiance. We're always excited to return to Peekamoose, our favorite place!

My husban and I tried this restaurant while in a weekend gateway and was nicely surprised by the quality of the ingredients, everything was fresh and cook to order, we had the squid ink risotto was super delicious. Main course was the tenderloin pork and the short ribs both exquisite and to the level of any Manhattan 5 star restaurant... More

This is upscale dining but in a relaxed format. They have 3 seating areas. Outside/patio, Main dining room and the Tavern. The Tavern is def. my choice. Really rustic and with a mountain lodge vibe to it. The food is really really good. Ok, it's pricey.. But, there aren't a lot of options around serving this kind of food so... More

From the corn chowder and watermelon gazpacho, this restaurant delivers excellent local, fresh seasonal food, excellently prepared. And the Maine lobster was fabulous, don't let the butter poached description fool you, it's in a seafood stock sauce, not too buttery, delicious. And the chocolate cake and panna cotta were very good. The chocolate ice cream was mousse like in texture,... More

Lovely place with great selection of craft beers and a well thought-out menu, including proper food for kids, not the usual frozen kids' options. The steak is indeed outstanding. We did all feel though that we had all eaten me too much salt afterwards (or at least I hope it's that and not MSG!). There is no need to be... More

Thank you for your wonderful review. Yes, we are proud to offer something for our younger guests that is indeed healthier, tastier, (and never, ever frozen) than typical "kids menus". As parents of young children ourselves, we know the importance of having menu options that are suitable for younger palates (and options that make the parents happy too!) We do... More

The food was fresh, unique and amazing! I got the steak dish and there was SO much beef, I couldn't eat it all!!! The environment is awesome. The beer list was very extensive as well. Everything was quite costly, but we weren't disappointed.

We have eaten here twice this season and meals are great. We like the way they serve martinis in the shaker which gives a little extra. The only con is that everything is alacarte. Would prefer a complete meal without paying for sides, salad, and dessert. They need designated handicap parking on the upper level not down the hill.

Hello and thank you for your lovely review. For future reference, our restaurant is ADA compliant - with parking designated at the top of Lasher Road - not in our lower lot. That way, guests with disabilities can easily access the entrance without any stairs or uneven pavement. In addition, all of our entrees are composed plates that include protein,... More
