Solid restaurant offering more than just french food

I've never had a disappointing meal here. Food is consistently good and varied. While there are french entrees, you can get everything from duck tacos, fried calamari and octopus for appetizers to a burger or paella for an entree. In interested in french entrees, try the duck or the... read more

I know everyone thinks of French food as being so expensive, not filling and just foo foo. Not this place...not only do you get top notched service(we had Emily aka Jodie Foster lookalike but much prettier and her backup helper Jose who's suprisingly so attentive and efficient). The hostess was friendly as we walked in but we didn't catch her... More

We eat at Sage Bistro at least once every two months as they are consistenly excellent! We have tried almost every item on the menu and have not been disappointed. Service is wonderful, too! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised that on a Friday evening we were able to secure a lovely table! The mussels ordered by one of my friends looked scrumptious...and I generally don't care for them. The burger was delicious and cooked properly. Go, enjoy!

Having eaten at the their two sister restaurants, Aperitif and Brasserie Persil, I was expecting an excellent meal. Don't get me wrong, the place is very nice and the food was good (especially the duck a l'orange) however, it was not quite up to the standards of the other two restaurants. Especially disappointing was the chocolate mousse at the end... More

We've been wanting to give this restaurant a try for a while and finally did. We had the Beef Wellington and the Halibut. The meal was one of the best I've had on the south shore in Nassau county. The ambiance is ok, the space was cramped and the waiter was stressed on a recent Saturday night, but the meal... More

I've eaten here about 4 times. The food and service have been excellent each time. They have a good wine by the glass selection. I get the Cotes du Rhone which isn't easy to find in most restaurants. I can't recommend it enough. The last time we came with our foodie friends and they were extremely impressed. It's like visiting... More
