Classic NY Steak experience

Jack's is a classic NY style steakhouse, packed with diners and very load. The food was excellent, but the seating was very tight. The wine list was very extensive and well rounded with choices, all priced at about 3 times retail price. Reservations are recommended at all times or you may have to... read more

The dinner and service were top notch but parking was a problem. The waiter suggested that my wife and I split a steak and he even sliced it for us. The asperigus and lamb appetizers were top notch and the chocolate suffle was to die for. We will dine there when we visit NY again

1. The Good- Service Service Service!! The staff was extremely accommodating, courteous and friendly it was outstanding. 2. The Bad- If you are looking for a quite intimate meal with a loved one, you might want to avoid Uncle Jacks. It was very very noisy and the tables were cozy. We asked to be moved to the cellar dining room... More

To celebrate being at the Belmont for Triple Crown winner we wanted dinner at a good steakhouse on Long Island. Uncle Jack's was the perfect choice. Shared a perfectly good medium rare porterhouse along with a Stags Leap Cab. Valet parking and Excellent service too. I wished I had checked Groupon before going to dinner. There is a very good... I was expecting to be knocked out by the reputation of the steaks here, and was sadly disappointed. Luger's has nothing to worry about.

I visited Uncle Jacks with my wife and 2 year old daughter on 20th May. Sadly we never tried the food (which looked and smelt amazing) because my daughter was not feeling well, but the Management looked after us so well and were so kind to us and didn't make us pay for the wine we had already ordered. Thanks... More

Nice place. Clubby atmosphere. What you might expect of a NYC steakhouse. Good overall food and service. I ordered the “COLOSSAL” crab cocktail. This shows that Uncle Jack’s does have a sense of humor. It has very few pieces of crab, that were just ok. The amount of lettuce was somewhat colossal though, I will admit. Be sure to skip... More

Uncle Jack's Steak House on Bell Blvd in Bayside, NY serves great food. Unfortunately it is served by incompetent waiters. Getting the waiters attention was next to impossible. The bus staff were more on the ball. Waiters completely inattentive to our needs. It took forever to get drinks. They brought the wrong appetizers. It was an embarrassment for this very... More
