A few weeks ago we went to Uncle Jacks in midtown and were very disappointed. Management contacted us and offered a gift card for us to revisit. Last evening we went to the Bayside location. What a difference. First, the drinks were much less expensive and the bartender left the contents of the martini shaker to allow us an additional... More

This morning's brunch was a disappointment. This is the fourth or fifth time we've had Sunday brunch here, either as a couple alone or with friends, and while I've always enjoyed the atmosphere, I've been undecided about the food until today's poor experience. The good - $28 price fix brunch includes bread basket with tasty breads and muffins, a generous... More

This is a very grown up steak house. A bit small (almost cramped) with a huge bar, but I was relatively comfortable. The Steak is top notch - prime beef well prepared and in good variety. I have my doubts about the very price Kobe/Wyagu stuff, but if you stick with the standards you should be pleased. The waitstaff are... More

This is a unique restaurant as it's a cross between a nice neighborhood bar and fine dining. How they pull it off is quite impressive. The food was fresh and came in ample portions. The steak was perfect and the service was first class. So much so I experienced something I've never seen before. As I was enjoying my meal,... More

As a bayside resident for a couple of years I went to jacks a couple of times. Crows is Very goty but that's what you get outside NYC, sorry but true. Only the steaks are worth it here since they are the real thing so when I wanted a steak I would call in for pick since I lived a... More

We are an occasional carnivore couple and Jack's is the place to go if you are in the mood for a great steak, and great seafood in the eastern Queens area. When you're done, walk it off along Bell Blvd. and check out the nightlife outside of the City (Manhattan). Well worth the trip, and the service is top notch... More

My husband Will and I live in Bayside and know a great steak when we eat one. The steak and its accoutrements, the ambience, the service, the selection of wines and just about anything one would expect from their dining experience can be found here on Bell Blvd.

Read all the reviews on Uncle Jack's steakhouse and with trepidation attempted to give it a try (expecting to have another disappointing dining encounter with the perfect steak at another hyped establishment). But was I in for a pleasant surprise. The Steak was wonderful, the filet mignon was tender and cooked to perfection the way I love it--medium well. The... More

We went to Uncle Jack's for dinner the other evening. Our waiter made a mistake and forgot to put in part of our order. The restaurant went above and beyond to rectify this. They didn't charge for the part of the order that was put in late(served to us and eaten) and sent over dessert and coffee with their compliments.... More
