Came for dinner with colleagues. I enjoyed a mescalin salad- delicious and flavorful with goat cheese. Another had a delicious wedge for appetizer. For entree I had a fillet of sole cooked in a butter sauce, a special. The others enjoyed steak. We share a side of baked gnocci with cheese- fabulously flavorful. We shared a caramel tartufo for dessert.... More

I have frequented uncle jacks a lot in the past I must say the quality is definetly slipping. It must be the arrogant owner who thinks he is a star. WRONG!! The staff from the hostess to the waiter to the bartenders are all wonderful and definetly the only thing this restaurant has going for it. The food is over... More

Pros: delicious, mouthwatering steaks. Excellent sides. Outstanding service. Excellent cocktails. Awesome brunch, too!! The owner, Willie Diegel also has his own TV show, Restaurant Stakeout. If you're lucky, he'll be here to say hello or possibly sign an autograph (I'm a big fan!!!!) Cons: everything on the menu is ala carte, so the bill can get steep. But, in my... More

If you like Morton's and Peter Lugers that are close in Great Neck, you will like this place. They also have a downstairs with a big TV to catch the games.

Well worth the couple hundred dollars you will spend on dinner here. The steaks are obviously top notch and the bartender makes a great dirty martini. Their appetizers are all fantastic I have a hard time choosing when ordering. It seems little known that Uncle Jack's also has a fantastic brunch for under $30 per person. The menu is expansive... This was one of my favorite restaurants. I won't go back after my last visit. I was with a party of 6 and had a terrible experience. It was a Friday night. They ran out of our favorite appetizer, the beer was warm (we sent it back), and the next round of drinks was the last because they ran out... More

Excellent steak dinner but on the expensive side after ordering entree, side dish and drinks. Would recommend going there for a special occasion, not as a regular dining place.
