Good food with plenty of options. Very attentive wait staff! Wonderful and entertaining harpist. A little pricey for the area.
it was very good. the menu had a full list of real Spanish food to choose from. there was not much to dislike.
Went here with family/friends around the holidays and again (have eaten here before) everyone was very pleased with their selections. The pitcher of Sangria was delicious, but pricey. Food/service excellent but again not cheap. I had a Restaurant.com certificate so that helped a bit. If you want to splurge a little and have a great meal, Marbella is the place... More
We were a party of 10 celebrating my wife’s birthday. There was only one dish I would suggest out of the variety we had, the sirloin steak. The service missed every possible expectation except filling the water glasses, we poured the wine ourselves. An example was that of the 10 main courses served, the one for my wife was delivered... We visited this restaurant on a Saturday and the dining room was full. It has the look of an older Spanish restaurant. The service was good although maybe a little slow on the keeping up with the water service. The Paella a la Valenciana, which I ordered was good with plenty of shrimp, scallops, clams and chicken (two people can... More
This restaurant, in the first floor of a neighborhood hotel, has been around for decades. Friends tell us of going for special occasions when they were young. Older male waiters know how to make the best neighborhood Sangria and the rolling table that brings your dinner is like watching the food channel, with separate ingredients placed on your warm plates.... I love paella and I was really looking forward to an authentic Spanish meal. The paella was OK, but nothing to rave about. The service was absolutely terrible. Even though the place wasn't very busy, it took forever to get served and even longer to get the check, despite asking for it a few times.
Classically elegant in old world style, this Spanish restaurant served typical dishes with style and panache. The food was very well done- especially the clams al ajillo, but the sangria was perhaps the best I've had in many a year. There are few restaurants around where a number of the waiters have been devotedly serving at the same establishment for... More
I really want to write a scathing review of this place just to keep other people away, because I think it should be my private restaurant and no one else can go there...But I'll be generous and give an honest review...Marbella is another of those hidden gems of Queens...Tucked away on the ground floor of a nondescript hotel, Marbella has... We went to celebrate retirement of friend! While the food was excellent the service depended on the waiter who was attending us. We had ordered a cake for occasion and had to request what was not served so honoree could take it home.
