Miss the Old Peninsula

Since the original owners sold Peninsula there has been a down hill turn. Our old favorite of Grey Sole in Black Bean Sauce is gone. The steak on a stick is a pale comparison to the original as are the steamed pork dumplings. The Peking Duck was not fatty but not as flavorful as we had hoped... read more

I am usually very picky with my chinese food, but this was very good. They only use white meat. The staff was very attentive to the table. Over all a good experience.

Peninsula is not the cheapest Chinese restaurant in the area but has the best food by far. Nice dining room or take-out are available.

A warm greeting to start at the door, lovely table with beautiful tableware. Polite attentive service, noodles & tea to start, so good. We ordered a few entrees & all were very delicious, fresh sliced oranges & of course fortune cookies were served at the end of dinner. Next time we are visiting family, we will drop in again...

From the day it opened I've had nothing but disappointments at Peninsula. It's a beautiful restaurant with both Chinese and Japanese menus - something for everyone. The problem has been that both food and service have been sub par. Prices are very high. Several visits convinced me that the only way to win was not to play. I stopped going.... More

we walk in to a hostess?? wearing her jacket and she just stares at you. she doesn't say hello, good evening. can I help you "nothing". she drops the menus on the table in one spot; so I can hand them out. Waiter walks over and says do you want a drink; I mean that was his greeting. I asked... More

The food is excellent, except for the egg rolls. you walk over a coy pond when you enter and the seating is very comfortable. It's a beautiful, quiet restaurant.

This restaurant has a varied menu but for gosh sake do they have to put egg in everything? They are accommodating though. You have to be very specific when ordering. If you are vegan you have to ask and make sure they understand that you would like vegetable both used and no eggs.

Let me start by saying its hard to fine a good sit down Chinese restaurant. This place is even better because that rolls up some awesome and fresh sushi. The kismet roll is my favorite. Give this place a try. The food is great too. I enjoy the Pan fried noodles with shrimp ,beef and chicken. They mix good drinks... More

I was fortunate enough to win a gift certificate to this lovely restaurant at a charity event. I went for dinner with a friend on a Sunday. The restaurant is charming, very tastefully decorated. The menu had a lot of delicious choices so I asked our server for a suggestion. He asked what I like and I told him Shrimp,... More
