A little gem hidden amongst the chaos of the Bayshore ferry terminal...you would never know you could have the perfect post-beach meal...we had the homemade seafood bisque and clams areganata...oh baby! Offer a variety of fresh seafood dishes...bar food entrees too. Friendly, casual, authentic....DELICIOUS...A+!

Quaint restaurant near ferry dock. Atmosphere is nautical but limited seating and parking. Take out is always busy and bar is always full. Many waiting for next ferry. I find food is good but most of all I enjoy large portions. Sea food is fresh and desserts are excellent. Is slightly overpriced. All in all good stop for lunch or... More

What more could one ask for while waiting for the ferry to Fire Island - Good seafood specialties and full bar. Prefer a "quickie", try the fried flounder sandwich and a Stella.

Best thing about Nicky's is the view....without a doubt. If price isn't an issue, this is a nice spot to eat, have a drink and watch the boats come and go....great people watching, too. They do not offer a lunch menu, so lunch portions are huge. The food is good; service is excellent. It's just overpriced....even for Long Island standards.

Really great local establishment-great food, very personable staff, "non" stuffy atmosphere. Being that they are not a chain restaurant, and they are a local business, im very impressed by them & would recommend them to anyone who asks. If i could guve this place 12 stars,i would.

We have been coming here for years for the great steamers, mussels and colossal (yes, really) shrimp. There really is nothing like this place. Here's the caveat (or two): the prices are way out of line- they don't even make sense. Also, the regular fish is just terrible- like it was boiled in water. Don't bother. The ONLY food worthwhile... Since Fire Island has been beat up and broken through, the tide is tremendous! We went for dinner on Saturday and had to wade through a foot of water to get into the resturant. Still worth it! Fried shrim (colassal!) perfect and I am not kidding! Sweet potatoe fries, a little greasy. Blueberry pie - good. I forgot the Steamers... More

Good food good people. The service is great and the food is even better. Nothing like a summer day sitting outside enjoying a fresh seaford meal and a few cocktails with friends.

Reviewed Nicky's just about a year ago and gave it a 4. Based on our experience this past weekend, it's now (generously) between a 2 and 3. (Gave it a cumulative of all our experiences>>3 ...in hope it bounces back....could have just as easily given it a singular/most recent experience >>1.) First, they were out of my wifes first 3...
