We always enjoy the homemade ice cream at Coyle's. This evening we were having fudgie wudgie and chocolate chocolate chip with our friends. We were discussing how we always loved chocolate egg creams as kids but haven't had one in years. Just then, 4 egg creams magically appeared...compliments of the owner. What a delicious and thoughtful treat! Thanks for the... More

We LOVE the chocolate chocolate chip and fudgie-wudgie! Were sitting enjoying our ice creams and reminiscing about how good chocolate egg creams are and how many years since one of the four of us had one. Suddenly 4 egg creams appeared compliments of the owner! Delicious, so thoughtful and worthy of praise!

This place stunk. The ice cream was just no good. Service was a little dopey as well. Second time I've tried this place, will be the last. Bad ice cream.

Very Disappointed with the toppings. A peanut butter sundae should contain more then a teaspoon of peanut butter sauce. Not worth the over priced experence

Great way to end a great long island beach day! After a long day at Robert Moses, a wonderful seafood meal, ice cream was the final stop! We couldn't have picked a better place. Great selection of flavors that pleased everyone in our very large group. Only negative was the very long line in the store.

Coyles has the best homemade ice cream around. Reminds you of the old mom and pop soda fountain shop. Root beer floats ,Ice cream sodas, black and whites and my favorite Cherry Lime ricky. They are always making new favors of ice cream. As the kids would say this place is the Bomb. Great place and great service. You have... More

We love the ice cream at this place. The prices are a little high, but the ice cream and ice cream cakes are fantastic. I love the Banana Split ice cream cake. Something like 16 flavors in one.

Visited here Tues. afternoon for ice cream. Great homemade ice cream. Many different and unique flavors are offered(maple bacon is one). Excellant flavor plus of our party had an egg cream and said it was very good, better than most he's had. Service was with a smile and quick. Seating is limited to a few booths but a good stop... My daughter and I recently ventured down to the south shore of Long island to sample the frozen treats at Coyle's. We had tastings of the Chunky Monkey, Vanilla Peanutbutter Fudge, and the Rocky Road. All were delcious, creamy, and refreshing. We noticed the place was a bit worn. Having opened in 1985 with a retro look, it probably hasn't... More
