The margarita I ordered was huge and delicious. The chips and pico de gallo were fantastic. Unfortunately, my entree was terrible. I ordered a vegetarian plate and was very disappointed. The plate consisted of a few tortillas smothered in various sauces without any attempt to garnish or even make presentable. The worst aspect was that the cheese looked and tasted... More

The food was as close to authenticate as I have had anywhere else in the northeast :). Prices were good, staff was great. My partner had the fajitas - he could not finish the order. I had one of the special combination plates. A cheese, chicken and bean burrito. I could not finish my order either. Prices were good.

We stopped by to Rancho Viejo in Batavia for dinner on 6/14/2014 and were pleasantly surprised to find out pretty good quality food. The menu was well diverse and offered enough variety for vegetarian folks. There were plenty of complementary chips, salsa and habanero sauce. Our orders arrived quite promptly and food was very delicious. Overall very quick service, reasonably... More

We were originally heading to Delevan's, but it appeared to have closed, so we stopped here and were glad we did. Cold beer, fresh chips (salsa was "meh," but ok), and good food. Chimichanga, enchiladas, burritos, and fajitas were all good, hot, and served quickly and pleasantly. They also accommodated my kids weird requests (no beans, no guac, etc.) without... More

Stopped here last saturday for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The salsa for the chips was excellent and our lunch was very good. My burrito was full of delicious flavored chicken and the rice/beans were very tasty too. Will definitely return next time we are in Batavia.

For authentic Mexican cuisine that is great tasting and reasonably priced, a trip to this restaurant is perfect. The place has plenty of parking, nice décor inside and very clean. Customers are always greeted with complimentary chips and salsa. The chips taste freshly made, not day old. We usually order a side of the white cheese dip and it is... More

The atmosphere in this restaurant is just great! I appreciate the speedy seating upon arrival. A basket of warm chips and salsa arrived shortly after being seated. Drink orders were taken - it seems that alcoholic drinks take a bit longer to be delivered - not really a problem as I wasn't in a hurry - and wanted to relax... More

Stick with the chips and salsa and a drink--you'll be fine. Everything else is bland and less than "authentic." I hear the fish is good, but I won't return to tell you.
