We visit II Castello's about twice a month. My favorite is their calzones!! A medium size is enough for two meals for me! They have a nice salad bar (always fresh) and with a bowl of their homemade soup - it is a great lunch. Their pizza is excellent, with so many varieties to choose from. A busy place everytime... Food is always great, however it may take you 10 minutes after your seated to have anyone take a drink order. This happens each and every time I visit this restaurant.

While touring the Poconos in PA last weekend, my wife and I discovered a wonderful Italian Family Restaurant on the PA/NY border in Barryville, NY. Not only is the food great and the menu very extensive, but the owners (Peter and Kelly...there are also many other family members working at the restaurant) couldn't have been nicer and went out of... Took 20 mins to get an order and another 30 mins to get two fried entrees! The French onion was watered down and nasty and the tomato soup burned my lips from the acid. Manager was nasty. We told them were not paying and left!

We found the food good and reasonable for the large portions. The service was a little slow, especially since there were only a few tables occupied.

My fiance and I go there often just over the bridge from pa. We went on a few first couple of dates there and loved the food all the time. They have a wide variety and most of the time will take custom pizza orders too. We requested a chicken Alfredo pizza and it was awesome! I also like their... More

Just a good overall experience every time. Nothing special about it just a good stop. Food is consistently good and service is as well. Prices are as good as any and wont break the bank.

good food, chef is from Italy, reasonable prices, portions are huge. amazing lentil soup. We went on Dec 30th 2012 and it was a homely place with a lot of great options for food from Pizza, Calzones, Soups, Salads, Pasta, and many more.

This place is perfect for a take out pie, or a quick sit down meal. Nothing fancy, but the pizza is good.
