Me and my husband tried this lovely restaurant after seeing the great reviews on here. I must say we were not disappointed! Everything about it was spot on. The duo of lamb was out if this world. The service was great and it was a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back thanks for a lovely meal.

We have visited many times and the food keeps going from strength to strength. The present menu is excellent and when you pick up the menu card you are spoilt for choice. No matter what dish you choose, it is going to be a taste sensation. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff add to the overall experience. This restaurant... More

My wife took us here for our 20th anniversary (not of marriage, just of dating...we're soft like that!). The service was perfect, attentive but not intrusive. Atmosphere was great, and the food was amazing. To benchmark it, it was better than my one experience at a Michelin starred establishment. Exquisite! Nice touch was the addition of a sprinkling of gold... More

Visited in Feb '16 based on TripAdvisor reviews. So glad we decided to book a table as it's a great little place. Staff were friendly & attentive - food was incredible. Thoroughly recommend anyone to go here for any occasion

This was our visit to The Burns Night event - well what can I say - it was fabulous each course more exciting than the last - never had Cullen Skink like it and the Haggis was to die for. Drittan and his team produce the most delectable food and should be awarded a Michelin star minimum. Our favourite restaurant... More

For £18 you could go to Pizza Express for lunch. Alternatively come here where you'll enjoy three courses, fine dining style. There's no comparison. The food at Chequers is excellent, with great service to match. And the puddings! Come here just for the deserts! We will return.

Another lovely meal, a birthday treat. Was my favourite course the lobster starter...or the duo of lamb. or the white chocolate cheesecake? Mmm. can't make up my mind. All good, again. Looking forward to visiting again.
