Consistently good

Get there early, because there's always a line later on! We had the house salad, fine, nothing special. Ask for the dressing on the side. The 'kitchen sink' was good; let it sit for a minute to let the sauce sink into the pasta a little. The chicken parm was good. A wot of warning if you haven't... read more

We had not been to Augie's since their old place burned down - the new place is nice right in town - I got our food to go - chicken parm with penne - $27.00+ enough food for more than 2 people - bread came with it - Italian food - nothing special - enough food for another meal.

The place is always extremely noisy and chaotic. They are usually unorganized and the atmosphere is loud, frenetic and hectic. They do not take reservations therefore it is quite typical that you will have to wait for well over an hour for a table for two, which we have experienced. One night we decided to call and order for takeout/pick... More

The meatballs are large but have way too much bread crumbs. As s result they are mushy. The Italian sausage should have more spice. But other dishes such as The Kitchen Sink and pasta with Vodka sauce are exceptional. Portions are obscenely large. They are more than 3 can eat.

I've always loved the food here, both at the old location and the new one. Top notch Italian family style that folks in the area rave about. Always best to come with at least 4 or more hungry people. For 5 people, if you order more than 2 or 3 entrees, you will all be going home with plenty of... More

This was our first time going to this restaurant and what a great experience it was. My husband and I went with our 2 kids and future son-in-law and from the service to the appetizers to the entrees to the dessert- all was delicious and the quality and quantity was remarkable. U need a reservation for a larger party so... More

Large portions, delicious food. Warm and friendly atmosphere, wait staff that act as they should. Moderate prices and a great selection. What's not to like, I'll be going back there on my next trip to Ballston Spa.

This place will please just about anyone's taste and you will not have room for dessert! Everything on the menu is delish. If you have the room the desserts are really amazing. The service is great and if you are luck enough to be there for your birthday they have quite a nice surprise for you. Make reservations because this... More
