The store front is very cute. Tons of local wares to purchase. The cider donuts are awesome. They were pressing cider the whole time we were there. Joined some friends to celebrate a 90th birthday, and Lakside Farms has been an annual birthday tradition for 12 years now. The food came our fairly fast and the sandwiches were excellent!

If you ever visiting the Capital District or visiting the track at Saratoga, you need to take a side trip to Lakeside Farms and try a Lake Cider sandwich. Dark rye bread stacked with tender roast beef, bacon, cheese, coleslaw and a dash of dressing. Tasty and delicious. (Come on admit it, your mouth Is watering right now isn't it!).... More

We absolutely love love lakeside farms. The food is fresh, hearty, interesting, and a really great place to go for an "old time feel". The waffles are amazing!!! The salads, sandwiches, and meals are always very fresh, timely, and reasonable prices. There is however a flaw:( we have yet to have a friendly person take our order. They seem like... More

This place has everything you could want, from cider donuts, to breakfast or lunch. It's a combination farm stand and a restaurant. Good service, the people that work there are great, if your stopping in for donuts or a pie to take home, or having a sandwich or breakfast! It's a seasonal spot, so I highly recommend visiting!

I have always known Lakeside for it's country store and cider donuts but haven't been there for a meal in a really long time. I stopped in on a weekday around lunch time and was able to get a table in the "seat yourself" dining room. The ordering process is a little confusing because it's the same counter that people... The food ordering procedure is unconventional and confusing. You order and pay at one counter, and you then take your order slip to another part of the store (to the kitchen window), where you later pick up your order when your number is called. If they do not ask each and every customer if they are familiar with the process,... More

Stopped by Lakeside Farms today... Found it to be very quaint. Cute little country store. Had wonderful desserts and baked goods. Had a meatloaf sandwich for lunch that was pretty good! The staff was very friendly and helpful ...will definitely go again!

I drive by this place every day on my way to work and why I never stopped in I guess I'll never understand. I did this morning for the first time and I was blown away. I guess since the parking lot is always packed I shouldn't have been surprised. They have a retail store in the front with fresh... More

...than see the jerk behind the counter benefit from my patronage. I have been driving by this place for quite some time Have been told their cider donuts are delicious. Walked in tonight, after walking from my car in a pouring rain. There were several people in the place, and 2-3 employees behind the counter. I said, "how are you... More
