Wonderful place for a family breakfast - lots of character and good eats. Parking lot is difficult to navigate, but worth the effort. Apple cider donuts are the best around! Farm market items are fresh and varied and they have a great selection of old time and unusual candy.

we go there a lot for breakfast in the summer and early fall love the smell of the fresh donuts being made and to look around at all the crafts . Great place to go for a quick easy meal.

If you need wheels or walkers to get around then you might find Lakeside a bit of a challenge. The new craft store has a wonderful ramp, but the barn restaurant and store could discourage you. Having said that, the food is always excellent. I live in the Atlanta area and it is almost impossible to find a good apple... More

I have been going to Lakeside since I was a little girl. As a parent, I now continue the tradition with my family. The sandwiches are good and are large portions but the best thing about Lakeside are the CIDER DONUTS! You can get them hot out of the fryer or buy them by the dozen. Also, the produce is... More

Always went for lunch but thought I'd try it for breakfast. The pancake and waffle were mediocre. The bacon tasted like grease and the meal came on paper plates (yuk). The "maple syrup" was watered down sugar water with maple flavoring. We also ordered a dozen of their famous apple cider sugar donuts which were cold and dense...like something you'd... More

If you want to shop at an old country store, go for lunch where the food is homemade, and go to a unique gift shop all at one place...this is the place to go. The food is delicious and you could shop for hours. Take the kids!

Breakfast the way it should be! My family LOVES this place. It has a great atmosphere, especially in the fall. We go for breakfast on Sundays..... Hash and Eggs, with thick cut bacon, buttered toasted/fried hard roll, some apple cider and maybe some apple fritter french toast on the side to share. You walk into a country store full of... More
