Oysters

They are, quite simply, the best oysters on the east cost ... Place is nothing special but oysters are amazing ...

I like the atmosphere, close to the water and a great nautical look and feel. The food was good, especially the calamari. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. Definitely would recommend them.

I eat here when I'm down in NY on business. It's by the water and a few of the outdoor tables have peeks at the bay. I usually get fish. Last time was crab stuffed talapia with rice. It was delicious and the portions are good. I've never had a meal I wasn't happy with. The service is excellent. I've... More

Just ate here and was disappointed. Chowder seemed microwaved, oysters were tiny and food bland. Veggie didn't come automatically with meal, you had to chose carb or veggie.

I invited my friend from Nassau County to lunch. Because we live on LI, there's no place better than eating on the water. Minutes from the Great South Bay, this restaurant is lovely. Franz, the owner, is so pleasant. The restaurant was recently renovated after Super Storm Sandy hit in 2012. We ate on the porch. I had a salad... More

My wife and I went to BF&C, for a Sunday afternoon early dinner. It was a pleasant experience, even though you're sitting on a deck looking over your car and parking space. It's been that way for years and the food is good and believe it or not the seating doesn't bother anyone. Only detraction would be that the entree's... More

Save yourself the trip and go to so many of the truly wonderful fish restaurants in the Babylon-Bay Shore area. I've been here several times and it only gets worse and worse. I dont know ANY place on this planet that serves a "lobster roll" on a club roll!!! Even the worst fisherman should know that. The fries were very... More

Had a family birthday, we opted to sit inside where it was cooler but the outside seating is nice too! Food and service were great, we'll be back.

Went on the last day of lent to enjoy some seafood, my boyfriend and I ordered old bay peel and eat shrimp, $15 for 7! Shrimp that wasn't even covered in real Old Bay. Boyfriend got crab cakes, at least that's what they were advertised as. $25 for 3 pucks with no crabmeat to be seen in the them. I... More
