Nice, quiet place in an historic building in downtown Babylon

The service was quite good. We were promptly seated by a friendly server. The atmosphere is really nice in what 32 years ago was the Post Office. They mostly kept the shell but, it is nice. Ask for a table, not a booth because you feel like a submariner, the benches are so low or the table is so... read more

Went here after shopping for a Communion dress for my Great Niece. It was a ladies afternoon together, 5 women. We had fun. The whole day was fun. This place is for so many events, a lunch together, dates in the evening, friends hanging out. The food was good, and the service was great. I have eaten here before with... More

What an amazing venue! I have been here before with my friends for dinner and drinks and always had a great time. I did not realize how amazing they really were until I had my company holiday party held there. I worked with Danielle who is the catering manager. She went above and beyond for me and our 25+ party.... More

The Post Office Café is a great place to eat, drink or watch a game. It gets very crowded, especially on the weekend and when popular games are on. Sometimes they have live music, which is nice. The food is always good, service is good too, and they have a nice bar menu. It's a great place for families (I... More

My lady friend and I visited the Post Office Café just a week ago for dinner. First time for me , multiple for her. It is a fairly large place with booths and tables by a very long bar and behind the bar, where you are somewhat protected from the noise and live music. That was our choice of sitting,... More

I have given it 2 1/2 stars for food prep and presentation. We were seated in a timely fashion and I ordered the chicken pot pie which was acceptable, but not exceptional. Elizabeth ordered the fish and chips which arrived in a reasonable quantity, but the fish was cold inside a hot, deep-fried breading. We sent it back only for... More

We had an impromptu gathering of family for drinks and ended up staying for dinner. Some of the extended family invited friends so there ended up being 14 of us in all, so we were given a table in a side room that was partially blocked off for a private party. Given that we came for a bar-type experience and... More

I went with a bunch of my cousins from out of town on Labor Day. The place was empty, but it still took 25 minutes before a waitress came up to us and took our drink order. We ordered seasonal beers that were advertised on the paper mats and were told they didn't have any of them yet. The biggest... More

The Post Office is a friendly place. The staff is always professional and the food is great. This is a great local spot for a burger and a beer, and it is also appropriate for children.
