Lovely place to have a drink and enjoy your self!!

We had a bachelors party on Saturday.. we had a few drinks an we decided that we going to have a drink at the Duck and trout. But we had a terrible experience! The atmosphere suck and there was no music, so when we go back to the poacher. The place was full, the manager went out of his way... read more

We stopped by the Poacher for a quick bite while exploring Dullstroom on a Saturday afternoon. The food was OK but expensive, service was much slower than it should have been but the kids enjoyed playing on the jungle gym and all the tummies were filled. I will choose another option next time.

We were visiting the area on our way to the lowveld and wanted to have a bite. We had some burgers and it was very good. Service was addeqoute. I only which the local authorities would do something about the harrasment from the car guards and hawkers.

Disgusting attitude by staff against a gay couple we were with. Not a place to go if you celebrate the wonderful diversity of race, ethnicity, sexuality and more that our wonderful Rainbow Nation has to offer. This is however the only pub in the town, so if you do not fit strict stereotypes of white, heterosexual, middle class, I would... More

I've been there twice now a year apart and both times the food was average at best. Prices not bad, but wouldn't pay those prices for the food received. Service was good, atmosphere was good, but that doesn't make up for the food. Also it was fairly cold and one of our members ordered a coffee, only to be informed... More
