It takes us about 20 minutes to drive here from the house and it is well worth it when we are in the mood for (New Mexican) Mexican food. The service is delightful, the staff very friendly and efficient and the food is out of this world. Pluses: free sopapilla dessert & homemade chips and red & green salsa. You... More

I spent last June with my daughter when she was doing some training on the AF base in Alamogordo. Someone told her about Casa de Suenos so we tried it. We live in southwestern AZ so we're used to good Mexican food, and often New Mexico and AZ have very different styles of Mexican food. I have to say they... More

Our niece who lives in Alamogordo told us about this place. We went for the fried Avacados on her advice. But everything we've tried on our two visits has been great Mexican food.

We went out of our way to lunch here while heading into Lincoln County for a weekend, if for no other reason than the Avocados Borrachos (beer battered avocado slices lightly friend and served with jalapeño ranch) - I can't understand why they are not on the menu of every Mexican restaurant! I ordered a platter to sample all the... More

I enjoy the Albondigas(meatball soup) Soup!! Enjoy going there for a relaxing meal when I have been busy all day and don't want to cook!

My family and I went to Casa De Suenos this last weekend and it was an odd experience. My 2 year old was a bit fussy and I spent some time calming him down, we were the only ones in the restaurant so I figured it wasn't that big of a deal, kids have meltdowns and I had it under... More

This restaurant has the best Mexican food in Alamo! Nice atmosphere and great service. Plus sopapillas are included as dessert with each meal!

Tasty food and plenty of it. Pleasant atmosphere. Located about 10 miles north of Alamogordo. Green chile stew and vegetable quesodilla was great. Server brought sample of a dish we asked about.

I have been here a couple times now, and every time it has been a great experience. The owner is an endearing man, always ready to engage in conversation and provide a great atmosphere. The food is wonderful, especially the bread pudding! BTW, they have cushions on the chairs now. They are much more comfortable!
