Great sit down dinner restaurant in middle of town.

This is a local favorite for many Tucumcarites as great salad bars and mix of mexican and american favorites. Moreso, it has large banquet facilities and can cater to later groups for functions, meetings, private areas and has done so for our tour groups several times. It is in the heart of town... read more

The food was excellent, chile was just right and flavorful. Combination plate gave us a chance to sample a variety.

This restaurant is an excellent choice when dining in Tucumcari. A wonderful interior with fanciful murals and paintings along the walls in the booths and above. Very clean and neat place with a interesting Lizard Lounge. The "alligator" from a earlier post is actually a lizard that looks a bit like the Geigo lizard on TV....and its 6 foot tall... More

Wasn't crazy about the red chili sauce but we loved the Chili Rellanos! Would eat here again if we were passing through! Staff was friendly and helpful! A fun experience!

We had fun eating at Pow Wow! Of course, the kids had their pictures taken with the talking alligator! Don't worry - it doesn't bite!

We got there just before they closed the kitchen and they were still very welcoming. Our waitress was very attentive. Loved the chips and salsa. Food was delicious. Nice stop after a long day.

Honestly we were not very hungry when we arrived at the Pow Wow. I ordered a Bloody Mary and the bartender stopped by our table to ask how it was. As he said, he hadn't made one in quite a while. My wife orderd a gass of white wine and that took some time to receive even though the restaurant... More

We were camping at KOA and they suggested this place. Food was very good. Waitress was very friendly. Soups on the soup and salad bar were delicious. I had Mexican Potato soup and my husband had the Beef Noodle soup. For the entree I had trout with baked potato and corn. My husband had chicken fried steak with onion rings... More

Really sorry we chose this place to eat dinner. We ate here in 2004 and it was really good, but no longer. A shame - it's a pretty cool place. I ordered mine with no cheese and it came with cheese on it. No compensation was offered for incorrect food order. ( Didn't want to send it back because we... More

The food here was ample but certainly not outstanding and they have a good full service bar. The best feature for us was that they provide a free shuttle from the motel to the restaurant. After dinner, on our way back to our motel, our driver, Jerry, provided us with a tour of the beautiful murals on the wall of... More
