Good, basic food at a very reasonable price

After an all day drive from Phoenix, Del's was a welcome stop. Good food - chopped sirloin with bacon and hickory chicken -- the salad bar is nice (I would like to have seen some tomatoes), a reasonable wine and beer selection. We suggest Del's not chill the red wine. Brandon, our server, was... read more

The hotel we stayed at recommended this restaurant. Get there early. They have quite a crowd. Dieting, so I selected the soup and salad bar. So very good, and so many items to choose from. Tucumcari is on our way to Arizona, so we're adding this restaurant to our list of excellent dining experiences.

Had some real cowboys in there so the locals must like it. Food was basic but what we were looking for. Very friendly staff.

We ordered 'blue' steaks - the waitress was not sure but checked and a supervisor came to ascertain exactly how we wanted them cooked. We couldn't have been happier - to perfection! One of the best coked steaks we've had on our travels on Route 66. The salad bar was also one of the best - fresh, raw vegetables (cauliflower,... More

The reviews were all positive about this confused restaurant. It is a Mexican - American place. Part of the restaurant is decorated with what appeared to be items from just across the border and the rest of the restaurant was just run-of-the-mill diner. The temperature was very cold inside and the iced tea was luke warm. My hubby loved his... More

Granted, from all outward appearances, one would not expect to find green smoothies and veggie burgers on their menu. However, that being said, this was the only place with more than two cars in the parking lot and I did assume I'd find something for my not meat eating self in the place. The salad bar was an option until... More

Good menu selection, good food, good portions. They have a nice gift shop. A good place to stop while traveling through.

We didn't want fast food, but a home cooked type meal. I had a hot beef sandwich that was very good; and my wife had a grilled cheese sandwich with a cup of tomato soup that was also very good. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. A salad bar was also available; and there was also several Mexican food... More

Arrived in town late on a weeknight, and this was an easy stop. Place was really busy this Wednesday night, but I got a table quickly. The hostess didn't seem happy. Jessica was my server, and she did a great job with her customers. The fajita plate was good, but not better than I'd had at other Mexican restaurants. Neither... More
