Good service, good food, and quick. Servers were helpful and friendly. Good place for a quick meal. If I had a reason to hit Route 66/Tucumcari again I would definitely go there again.

We stayed here for breakfast after a night in the blue swallow. The food and service were excellent. We had some perfect omelettes and the pancakes are excellent. Well worth a visit.

We loved that this restaurant was directly across the street from the Roadrunner Lodge. We enjoyed our breakfast, and the service was friendly and attentive.

We ate breakfast here. My coffee was never empty (though it could have been stronger and hotter). Eggs and hashbrowns were well-prepared and tasty. Don’t come looking for anything new-fangled, though – no yogurt or granola on this menu and the only fruit I saw was in juice-form.

Local "flavor"...clean, excellent food and service. A great location to central Tucumcari...walking distance to Tee Pee Curios and many historic motels.

A quaint diner along Route 66 that is not only a step back in time but has great food as well. It always seems crowded and there is good reason: the food is delicious. They seem to thrive on "busy" as the service always seems to keep up with the crowd. I highly recommend the breakfast. I never miss eating... More

When here for brunch and had the New Mexico quesadillas which are made up of scrambled eggs, green chillies, cheese, choice of meat and a side of salsa. The dish was tasty and considering how hardy it was I didn't leave feeling too full or like I ate a lot of grease. Just by looking at the menu you can... More

This is the place I must stop every time I'm in Tucumcari!!! In fact, it's the main reason we stay in Tucumcari! The breakfast burrito is the best the breakfast quesadillas are also super good, in fact, you can't go wrong!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to meet Yvette or Yvonne, the owners of Kix on 66, but they have GREAT breakfast! After a wonderful stay at The Blue Swallow Motel the previous night, we decided to eat breakfast at Kix, at the suggestion of Kevin & Nancy, who are the Blue Swallow Motel owners. The service, parking, ambiance, and... More

We had just coffee at this place and the staff was so nice and welcoming. We wanted to have a piece of pie for dessert as well but unfortunately, they didn't have any. The place is very clean and they sell Route 66 souvenirs. We stopped at this place because it is recommended by the AAA.
