Do not miss Kix on 66 if you are in Tucumcari, NM. We had the best breakfast while there and it's also interesting to know that the advertising signs that decorate the restaurant's interior are for sale. Our waitress was very nice and the food was very good and we will definitely be back on our next trip through town.

On our way home from the east coast, we were anxious to get back to NM. We'd had breakfast here at Kix once, years ago, and made a beeline for it at lunchtime. What a great decision. A breakfast burrito smothered w green chile, a green chile cheeseburger, and a BLT with green chile made us all happy with big... More

If you're driving between Albuquerque and Amarillo and don't like the fast food chains this is the only restaurant you should stop at. We had a late breakfast and they were out of homemade cinnamon rolls and sausage but our bacon and eggs were very good. Pleasant servers kept the excellent coffee topped off.

Nothing special but the food was good and reasonably priced. Was recommended by the folks at the Blue Swallow.

Nice little spot. Was very impressed by how immaculate the dining room and the kitchen were. Had the Mexican scramble with chorizo -- tasty, expertly cooked and well presented.

The food is very good and the servings are large. The service was wonderful. This restaurant is very clean and was one of our favorite places that we ate at on our trip.

On our second trip through Tucumcari we chose to stop at Kix on 66 for breakfast again since we had such a good experience the first time. Breakfast is super good. Prices are great and service is outstanding. Kix will be one of our go-to places every time we visit Tucumcari.

Oh. My. Goodness. First of all this place is CUTE; it has the whole Route 66 nostalgia thing going on. The breakfast (I had the eggs ranchero) is worth the stop. Yummy, yummy, yummy! HUGE portions. Terrific service. We will be back next time. Get your kicks indeed!
